I never choose that **** to be my second in command. Her opening scene in the same room with tim make me distrustfull right at the start. And a lot of other things that happen in the game made me hate her.shinobi602 wrote...
Lol, I don't understand why anyone would even want any squadmate to die. Doesn't make sense lmao.

I doubt that.Otherwise he wouldnt hire mercs to capture her.He would contact her in a normal way and told her that she was stolen away from him.He doesnt change his mentality.Ecael wrote...
She hasn't. Her father probably treats her differently than he did with Miranda.
She would.Oriana wouldn't have much reason to run away to Cerberus.

Well of course you know I greatly disagree, but still, I don't really like Zaeed or Jacob all that much, that doesn't mean I'd go out of my way just to kill them lol....

Maybe after ME2 I'd trust her, but before that you want Garrus to have your back.

Does anyone think this is BS, i think it is. Totaly pointless in doing her Loyalty mission, unless you want her second costume, then she doesnt matter at all.
The costume and her Slam ability.
Just sayin'. :innocent:
Miranda shouldn't have any more chance to survive I think than anyone else, if the Bioware team are indeed datamining players' actions to see which characters are the most used/survived then they have already skewed their results with her if this is indeed the case. Considering she has a constant smirk on her face that makes you really want to hate her they should definitely not have done this.

There are people who are trying to kill off teammates deliberately because they feel the 'mission doesn't mean anything' if they don't lose some of them, due to it being called a suicide mission. Not me, I see it as people going "You can't do it, it's SUICIDE!" with Shepard retorting "Hey, I'm the Shepard!" *cue sunglasses* but that's just my opinion.

It there would be other ways to get rid of her without make her die,it would be welcome. But the game doesnt give you this choice. So of course "dat ass" has to die.

Side note Garrus has no backbone in standing up to Shepard I trust Garrus and such but since he views Sjeaprd so high he never question him or have the balls to do so so on that note Garrus sould suck as a second in commend

Didnt Miranda steal her away when she was only an infant? Meaning her father never got the chance to treat her the same way.
I think the chances of her ever being a squad member are zero. Why not just invited everyones relatives along? Jacobs dad was in the military, perhaps he will replace Jacob if he is dead.
I'm also in the camp of not finding it unfair at all that she has more chance of surviving, but im biased too.

Why is it that players are so determined to get certain characters killed? Even if you don't like the character you can just pester them in the next game instead of having them die uneventfully.
It's a roleplaying game...hence you can make your own story. Chastising someone for exploring an aspect of the game is real mature. I myself have a ton of imports ready and on at LEAST one of them I will have only my favorite characters Tali, Garrus, Legion, and Mordin survive. Is it cuz I hate all the others? No, I just don't want my ME2 imports to all be the same.
If your canon Shepard has dead ME2 squadmates, THEN I don't understand.
Also if Miranda does die, you guys think her sister will be her replacement? That's pretty intriguing....

um miranda is the only character that can survive anything in the suicide mission without needing her loyalty, that pretty much sums up there love for her over every other character in the gameshinobi602 wrote...

this really questions biowares motives on miranda, do they all love her that much? its pathetic.

And she's got Warp and Overload and Squad bonuses that nobody else gets and Slam. So yeah, bloody favoritism :innocent: that's why I don't use her; If I beat Insanity without Miranda I'll feel like I accomplished more.

If you take Tali and Legion to fight the Oculus with no Normandy upgrades:Snowraptor wrote...
oh just beat the game, with legion tali and garrus living, and only had grunt miranda and zaeed hold the line, oh and ONLY zaeed had his loyalty out of the three, thats it, i have to make another file and not use talis upgrades, then i take tali and legion with me to fight in the garage, then thane dies, then some one gets speared, then ill rethink me killing off my entire squad except for legion tali and garrus
No Shield - Jack dies
No Armor - Thane dies
No Weapons - Garrus dies

I hear you... but on my first playthrough I sent Tali in the Pipes... and I actually cheered when she got the head shot. I found her voice so annoying telling me she was getting too warm in the Pipes. I mean... she was complaining before the bar was even half way down. ( I think I also resented having to take her along on Mako missions to open capsules in ME1... and that resentment carried over)
Aside from her though, I wanted to keep all of my characters alive... as I grew attached to most of them (Well, maybe not Jacob, but he seemed like a good honest guy... I respect that).
I can understand a distate for Miranda as her Personality design is to be initially arrogant, confident, dismissive, etc. In the end though... she was prob my fav character for tactical in-game use (invaluable at higher difficulties), eye candy, voice acting, and character story/development. I would put her with Zaeed and Legion as the three squd mates that I would have to keep.

What you mean to say is, "This really calls into question Bioware's motives concerning Yvonne Strahovski, did they really have to pay her that much?"Snowraptor wrote...

They plan on bringing her back in ME3, so she has a high chance of survival. That's my assumption.
