Make your own class!
Basically I'll give some rules and you try to make what you think is perfect (or worst) in terms of a class)
So lets begin. Here's how this works: you have a certain number of points to spend on class powers and passive abilities. Each ability has a certain price to it, so your class is limited in the number of powers and abilities. You have enough points to completely rebuild a class, however that class would not be able to have a bonus talent. So lets throw out some numbers.
Total starting points: 8
Prices: All class specific talents (cloak, armor, drone, singularity, adrenaline, charge): 2 points
Any class passive talent: 2 points
Everything else: 1 point.
2 non cryo ammo powers=1 weapon specialization
Cryo ammo=1 weapon specialization
Adrenaline rush=Assault rifle training
I'll give you guys some examples:
Super Soldier:
Inferno Grenade
Warp ammo
Disruptor ammo = Sniper
Cryo Ammo =Shotgun
Adrenaline rush = Assault rifle
Charge
Assault Sentinel:
Defender(sentinel passive)
Warp
Lift
Incinerate
Overload
Shredder ammo
Cryo ammo = Assault rifle
My Ideal class:
Warp ammo
Disruptor ammo = Sniper rifle
Tech Armor
Adrenaline rush= Assault rifle
Defender(sentinel passive)
Looking back at it now it may overpower these a little, but hey, its hypothetical. Post your class, or suggest a way to make it a little more balanced!

Limitations on different functions creates diversity by making players either search for ways to overcome weaknesses or build off their strengths. It also adds personality to the game.
While having the best combo limits you to just attempting to get the greatest combo.

Guardian
Champion
Heavy Charge
Assault Armor
Warp
and give him a claymore while your at it.

No near-godhood, no one-man team, no two class-specific talents, no more than 6 talents, just a simple re-organization of a class.
Barrier instead of Shockwave since Vanguards could make use of an insta-shield as base power, especially when we have no target to second charge/while we're running for cover and disruptor ammo because Vanguards have no base power that depletes enemy shields/barriers, unlike infiltrators, sentinels, soldiers and engineers.

Slam or reave or barrier or warp ammo.
Has Shotgun instead of SMG, picks up sniper later.
Suits me perfectly; pick a few off from a distance, switch to shotgun and charge in to finish them off quickly. it's all about controlling the battlefield. Lifting, tossing them about, disintegrating, and slow firing but powerful guns.
Notice my class is only very slightly different from the adept!

Probably overpowered, but it's the only Tech Vanguard I could come up with that wasn't worse than the default version. Losing incendiary ammo would be a huge loss though.

What about if you swapped out disruptor ammo for putting back incendiary ammo? Wouldn't be a pure tech vanguard but would still be pretty sweet me thinks

Trained Varren (Can we make up our own skills too?)/(Stays active until it dies, unlike drone.)
-Voracious Varren (calls a heavily armoured varren on to the field, incapacitating enemies and drawing them out of cover, damages health directly, meat shield/distracting element).
-Pack Varren (calls two lightly armoured varren to the field, incapacitating enemies and drwaing them out of cover, damages health directly, distracts more enemies, but go down faster.
Weapons: Assault Rifles, Pistols, Sniper Rifles. Can upgrade to Widow, cannot get LMG.
Strengths: Creates many distractions, meaning Shepard rarely takes damage and can camp behind cover, managing his minions. Low-risk, slow and steady gameplay.
Weaknesses: Lack of direct damage attacks, no ammo powers, must rely on squadmates heavily(the whole point).
Combat Doctrine: Starts off battles relatively weak, gains momentum and becomes unstoppable as organics and synthetics are brainwashed, battles are calculated and efficient.

Your varren ability sounds pretty cool actually but it might be more realistic to summon Fenris Mechs.Like, maybe your Shep could build one in .5 seconds.

Primary Weapon (pick one): Assault Rifle, Shotgun, or Sniper
Secondary Weapon (pick one): Heavy Pistol, SMG, or Shotgun (if it wasn't your primary)
Talent (pick one): Cloak, Charge, Adrenaline Rush, Singularity, Combat Drone, Tech Armor
Passive (pick one): Choose any one class passive, or any one squad mate passive. That's right, you can be a Krogan Pureblood or Asari Justicar if you want (why not?).
Ammo Power: Pick any one ammo power (warp, shredder, cryo, etc.)
Hero Power 1: Pick any one tech, biotic, or combat power (Inferno Grenade, shockwave, overload, etc.)
Hero Power 2: Pick another power
This template doesn't allow you to create a core class, but is more like a template for creating squadmate classes. The point of this template is that it's easy to use, and every class generated from it is balanced by default.
So here's an example,
Asari Justicar:
Primary Weapon: Vindicator Assault Rifle
Secondary Weapon: Eviscerator Shotgun
Talent: Biotic Charge
Passive: Asari Justicar
Ammo Power: Warp Ammo
Hero Powers (2): Pull and Concussive Shot
