I would have a spectral dragon, I found it an awesome innovation to the high dragon species. And its more believable than having to control a physical dragon.

No, I keep those things strictly reserved for Zevy. I don't want to "play" with pet Loghain. Just chain him up to a tree and throw scraps. That he can't eat cuz of the muzzle.

No, I reserve that stuff for Sten since he's the size of a horse anyway. Nipple clamps, suspension harnesses, and electro-shock therapy instruments are reserved for Alistair.

A squirrel until you activate it (like Ser Pounce-a-Lot).  Then a whole herd(?) of squirrels would show up and mass a target.  When they leave, only bones. Oh yeah!

For me, I would like a pet minature golem. It could follow me around and beat on the ankles of my opponents.  It could also occasionally run off and bring back fun things like shiny rocks and dust bunnies.

Really, pretty much anything other than a dog. I really don't like dogs. Cat, lizard, snake - snake might be useful to make poisons from, too. Hmmm.
