Prior to ME2 release I though that Subject Zero is Rhana - Kaidan's girlfriend from BAaT program. It was not confirmed. But it was not denied either. She must have had some childhood, and there must have been a reason why she was chozen by Cerberus to be the primary experementation subject, which implies she had shown significant biotic potential before Teltin project was started...

Mm. I heard a theory that the asari that sold him out to the Blood Pack could have been Aria. My friend brought it up and I sort of went 'HMMM. That sort of fits together'. If Zaeed did a lot of work in Omega and had a contract with Aria,they could have had a little something-something until she got wind she could make credits by selling him out. She's certainly selfish enough to do so.

And, despite the fact he held a grudge for Vido, I don't think Zaeed would really be that angry about it. I'm assuming depending on the amount of credits, he would have done the same.

Though I suspect he has a pretty low chance, since he seems to be despised by 70% of the vocal Bio fanbase.

Yeah, weeelll, they may surprise us. I think ME3 will have a ton of members to pick from. Ashley, Kaiden, Liara and whatnot along with everyone else from ME2, too including Zaeed. (I hope! ;_; ) 

Anyway, more fanart doodled while I wait for my next lecture to start.My fem!Paragon Shep hanging out in the cargo hold with Zaeed. Yeah, yeah, not standard Shepard uniform or hair, but the female Shep hair and casual uniforms are so manky that I thought I would improve them. D:

He looks a little worn but that adds character! He should be LI for female Shepards. He likes destructive b*tches and Shepard can be both of those.

The one single best line in ME2 IMO is by Zaeed in the collector ship. After they found out about the collector DNA.

Shepard says: This doesn't change anything. We need to stop the Collectors (Or something like that).
To which Zaeed replies: DAMN STRAIGHT! They're not doin' that sh*t to us!

It's not the line itself, it's the way he say it. I laughed real hard first time I heard that. And afterwards I liked Zaeed more

Yes but that's still hundreds, mayhapes thousands of people, paying customers.
Those 70% can just deal with that fact that can have him killed off, if they do so he wont be there.
If they complain about it that he is there, say, "Hey, you're the one that kept his ass alive in the middle of a warzone, he's thankful."
I mean Liara, Ashly, Kaiden, and Garrus pretty much rusted in the SR1 while i hob nobbed around the galaxy with Wrex and Tali sooo... Dont use him if you dont like him?

Agreed! Seeming as how the number of possible squadmates increased with 100% (Counting Morinth) from ME1 to ME2 I expect in proximity to 24 of them in ME3.

Zaeed should be one of them. However I agree that it seems unlikely. He says that he's in it for the cash in the beginning and nothing afterwards to make you think he's changed his mind. Apart from him giving in if you say stuff like 'you are part of a team now' on his loyalty mission.

If you don't kill Vido you should get a second chance in ME3 ^^

Zaeed definitely does grow on you. When I had to smack him around as a paragon Shepard during his loyalty mission, it wasn't the best first experience. When you start talking to him regularly and take him on missions, on the other hand, he starts to grow on you. Also he is the first guy you can get loyal in the game which is nice for the beginning part of the game.

A LI or old squadmate held hostage, something, i could just feel it.
Vido isnt a man who is going to lay back like a turtle when he has the largest and strongest mercenary group at his dispossial.
But i didnt give him that chance, and he Died Like A B*tch, burning and begging for his life.

In regards to the speculations:



1) Jack and Zaeed - unlikely. While it was possible Zaeed may not have recognized Jack (She's all grown up and bald now) Jack would have definitely recognized Zaeed. Also Zaeed never mentioned the little girl she picked up has biotic abilities.



2) Zaeed and Aria - Impossible. Aria has been boss, CEO, "queen" if you're feeling dramatic of Omega before Zaeed was even born.

I am not sure whether Zaeed would be continued in ME3. but as long as he agrees fair contract with Cerberus, he will do the job for Shepard. he follows for money anyway. so I guess that his retirement would be delayed bit.



yeah, I love to bring him for ME3. Tali exiled. so she has no place to stay. like or not, Normandy is the best choice. so I guess tali will be return to ME3. grunt will negotiate for his future with Shepard. then he would decide to get back to Tuchanka.so he won't be in ME3. Jack needs psychological treatment, so she would be invited to cure, send back to Earth. Miranda, Jacob have no choice. they work for Cerberus. so they will continue with Shepard. Samara will follow her own asari code. so I am not sure. mordin will be return to his government. Thane is question. not sure. Garrus is the best friend, and good coworker, so I think he will be remained. Legion would be half and half chance. in ME3, geth is no longer issue. Kasumi will make her decision whether she will be remained or not. she will ask the situation to Shepard. so it's up to you.



I guess that geth technology won't affect on collector attack. they will find the whole different way to defeat us. mostly they still dig out from prothean heritage and technology. as I said before, collector already negotiated with shadow broker for benefit, they will acquire more advanced technology (dark matter or something). Liara is the key to defeat against both enemies. so I guess that acquisition Liara is inevitable as squadmate later.



well, this is what I think on ME3. new squadmate is very possible.

I too am a big Zaeed fan.

I usually play Paragon, and I enjoy being able to have a difference of opinion with one of my squadmates without them getting all whiny about it. It's also funny how if you get him started talking on the Normandy he keeps telling the story even after you've left the room and are headed to the elevator.

I think Robin Sachs was amazing - the best voice acting in the game.

Zaeed should come back in ME3. You could spend half the game chasing Vido around the galaxy.

I think Zaeed will come back if for no other reason than it appears as though BioWare loves Robin Sachs - he did most of the voices in Dragon Age: Awakening.
