Do any other characters get anything comparable to Miranda's resignation scene at the end on either ending? I don't want  to replay the final battle 60+ times to test. Also, are there any other squad mates who're similarly hard to kill?

Mordin argued in favor of keeping the base in my last game. I blew it up anyway.

Grunt has a special line there - he recommends keeping the base... something about using an enemy's weapons against them. So far though, I've not heard anyone else say anything.

Yeah sorry. Bioware has an extremley powerfull love for thier pet Miranda. She would have too die for that too happen and she will only die if you dont have her loyalty at the boss fight.

Every character have his/her own line before you choose what to do with the base, Miranda is the only one have a unique AFTER you choose to blow up the base afaik.(because she's the only one TIM will talk to after you make the decision)

I was disappointed to learn that Miranda doesn't turn on you if she's not loyal. I mean thats the point of the loyalty system right? Woulda been awesome if she pulled her gun on you and Shepard or your other teammate put her down and then blow up the base.

why if listen to her voice watch her actions take her on the right missions you can see her lossing more and more trust in TIM through out the game why would that change in one moment< no her quiting never came out of the blue unless you miss the signs>
point to the loyalty system? depends are you seeing it as loyal to Shepard or loyal to Shepards mission I kind of see it as more the latter as most everyone is "loyal" the moment you pick them up. Jacob and Miranda have orders from TIM at the start to listen to everything Shepard says. Thane "give his arm" to Shepard, Shepards all Grunt knows, Garrus and Tali have history, Legion believe the emeny of my emeny is my friend, Jacks well Jack and wouldnt want to own anything to anyone,Samara swears to join Shepards cause, and Mordin would do most anything for lets him use his smarts

Keegdarv has a very good point, but I still think it would have been better for Miranda to have turned on you. If nothing else, it's more dramatic and that's always good for a Bioware game.

The best example of that is how a "non-loyal" crew escort will give his/her life to save the crew.

So when does she resign?

She's my favorite character, and I wanted her to betray you if she isn't loyal. That should tell you something. She's dead anyway. Might as well make it dramatic.

i kind of agree it would have been a cool moment but how i saw her go through the game is all just wouldnt have made much sense to do it if even not loyal and no sense what so ever if loyal
