I concur and augment: surprised that my entry made the finalists, no matter the last minute edit.
Also, it’s a great thing seeing so many fans compete over this (and I’m sure that most of you didn’t do it for the  Gear code…), with so many good entries; Bravo!
Let's do this again some time.

I'm glad to hear there's another contest on the way too, since I have been capturing footage from both ME1 and ME2, but am nowhere near ready to put a trailer together right now. I'm gonna need a bigger hard drive, that's for sure.

In the meantime, I created a group for all-things fan-video oriented, for people to share their stuff and exchange idea, help, and whatnot. It would probably be nice to make a sister thread in this forum for it too, to share our videos with the larger community when there's not a contest going on here - and Polite Assassin, I hope this doesn't intrude upon or interfere with your contest(s) in any way. It was actually inspired by the contest and would hopefull be mutually beneficial:D

I'm curious about the next contest. This one made people create some great stuff and I guess there is going to be even more participation next time. Just wondering what the theme will be.

Joined. I'm pretty much over vidding Mass Effect 2 right now, but I'd be happy to share ideas, tips and support with Sony Vegas, Adobe After Effects and integrating other programs such as Photoshop.

Joined  too. I'll prepare an all-in-one mod for ModManager to make things easier for capturing video and post it shortly, as my coalesced.ini is a mess now.  I can also offer advice with Premiere, Nuke, and After Effects, share techniques, etc.

Suddenly Ray Muzyka and Greg Zeschuk bust though my door, take me by the hand, and wisk me away to Bioware. There, I get to give my creative input on Mass Effect 3, were I die shortly after because my heart simply couldn't take the level of awesomeness.

I think your trailer was fine.

Problem is, it doesn't really follow the guidelines for the contest. You have to use your own game footage in order to show your personal Shepard. You trailer is all footage from official trailers released by Bioware.

Your trailer was good, but it wasn't about your Shepard. It was about the team. Thats not what the contest is about.
