I think some of you may have misunderstood the goal of the contest. The trailer is supposed to be of your shepard. We don't want a trailer of content from bioware videos and such. The trailer is to present your unique shepard. WinterJedi's video is a good example of that.
Just wanted to clarify this as I've been recieving videos that aren't about the players shepard at all. Now they are well done trailers, but they don't qualify for the contest. I hope many of you understand now and that we will continue to see more good work.
Mmmm, 2 of the 3 contestants are using defaultshep, I am missing something?
I can't possible beat ugly shepard, but since the deadline is generous I might try something to get second place.
Default Shepard is allowed. As long as it is custom footage, and not footage from Bioware vids.

I'm fine with default Shephards. I actually prefer them. Let's not exclude them Polite
Default Shepard isn't excluded. We won't allow submissions, however, of a compilation of footages from released Bioware media. All of the footage must be taken by the author.

As I already noted on the YouTube description, I did use some trailer footage for some random footage- while it's predominately captured/edited cutscenes, my HDD free space ran out (currently 2GB free) and I didn't dare risk system failure by pushing it further and recording more with FRAPS. I leave it to PoliteAssassin to judge whether or not it's still applicable to the contest in its current state, in any case, I won't complain.
I hope you like it and I would appreciate comments. Further technical details in the YouTube link, please wait a bit if video quality is low, it's still being processed.
Thanks!
EDIT: And in my infinite wisdom, I forgot to post the link... eh...

Nicely done.
I've noticed, that there will be many similar scenes used in most fan trailers
and that because they're awesome.
Next NOT my fan-trailer this is the best I've seen ever.

Thanks - for the comment; and for adding me to the contest, PoliteAssassin!
I have to admit, the trailer you posted keylon was very professionally edited, the audio and video transitions were seamless - that requires a lot of effort.

Yes, it looks very professional because a group of people were doing it.
With many point of view you can chose the best.
Also it is very good directed.
I'm trying to make mine with similar effect but I'm 'just one man' hehe.

DISCLAIMER: THIS IS NOT AN ENTRY, and I'M NOT THE AUTHOR of this clip. This is just something I found today on YouTube.
So what is it? An interpretation of Mass Effect 2's opening credits, in four different styles: Star Trek, Star Wars, Blade Runner and Mission Impossible. See for yourself:

It may be off-topic but it is a nice way to do some break while making own trailers.

I think they stole my idea for that trailer. 2 of the songs used in that video were used by me in my videos of Mass Effect... It's just too ironic.
Edit: Why is my trailer not in the submissions list ? I PMed it to the OP. Here's the link:
