Default Shepard is allowed. As long as it is custom footage, and not footage from Bioware vids.

Default Shepard isn't excluded. We won't allow submissions, however, of a compilation of footages from released Bioware media. All of the footage must be taken by the author.

PoliteAssasin, can we at least use some ingame footage that doesnt have anything to do with personal Shepard, like couple of action shots just to bridge the whole point of the story together? Also, are titles allowed? (not ingame subs but custom made ones)

You can use ingame footage that has nothing to do with your shepard, yes. But that will be a small portion. And it must be footage you have recorded, not taken from a bioware video. And yes you can use titles as long as it's custom.

Well, I'm done...

As I already noted on the YouTube description, I did use some trailer footage for some random footage- while it's predominately captured/edited cutscenes, my HDD free space ran out (currently 2GB free) and I didn't dare risk system failure by pushing it further and recording more with FRAPS. I leave it to PoliteAssassin to judge whether or not it's still applicable to the contest in its current state, in any case, I won't complain.

I hope you like it and I would appreciate comments. Further technical details in the YouTube link, please wait a bit if video quality is low, it's still being processed.

yeah i use default shepard. i just always vomit whenever i see my custom shepard, and other peoples custom shepard, there all terible, except the females, lucky

I have to admit, the trailer you posted keylon was very professionally edited, the audio and video transitions were seamless - that requires a lot of effort.

Yes, it looks very professional because a group of people were doing it.

With many point of view you can chose the best.

Also it is very good directed.

I'm trying to make mine with similar effect but I'm 'just one man' hehe.

As a one-time (before the prequels) Star Wars nerd, I must say, that trailer was amazing. I desperately wanted for that to turn into a full movie... oh, well!



Mission Impossible was beyond cheesy, though...

Yes, the DuoGroup are  a professional fan trailer group.
I think they stole my idea for that trailer. 2 of the songs used in that video were used by me in my videos of Mass Effect... It's just too ironic.
