...thinking about ME2. The characters and setting are so well made it just sucks you in. Makes you realize how boring real life is. No space travel here. I've played through it several times over and it's still good. Still care about what happens to the crew (at least most of them :P ). I never even played the first game but the characters still have weight and personality that few games can match. Bravo.

Lol, yeah I definitely need to get the first one. But I don't have a job and I just spent $100 on the SE of Bioshock.

On the bright side YOU could be a biotic god in ME1, and as for boring real life, lets not make it like the suicides over the Avatar movie, was kind of silly.

Edit: 100 dollars on bioshock 2? thats silly

Well when I get ME1 I'll get even more sucked in, and I already regret not buying a Garrus lithograph while I had the chance (why only 300...).

... addicted to the shindig? Chop top, he says I'm gonna win big?

Oh, sorry. I see. Yeah, go buy ME1. I'm not sure how you've managed to understand what is going on.

You're going to enjoy playing ME1, then seeing how ME2 reflects the decisions you made when you replay it with your veteran Shepard.

Grand Commander is right, though, you will probably need to be forgiving of the ME1 combat. They tweaked it a *lot* for the sequel.
