This ending in heavy rain. (Don't click the link unless you want to be spoiled!)

That might have been harder to watch than the video where the player did nothing at the doctor scene. That was tense.

FunCom's Dreamfall: The Longest Journey has a real tearjerker of an ending.

I cry at video-games a lot.

The first time I cried was... FFVI, I think? The Phantom Train segment, where Cyan is running after the train calling out to his dead wife and son who are boarding the train to move on with the next life. I never cried when Aeris was killed. She always came across to me as 'Miss Plot Device' and I didn't really feel much anything. Figures.

The second time was definitely the end of Super Metroid. Samus is about to get destroyed by Mother Brain, but is saved by the same Metroid larva at the end of Metroid II and the same one taken away at the beginning. It was absolutely devestating seeing Mother Brain take out the baby Metroid and watch the pieces of it drift to the ground.

Mother 3. Pretty much all of it. Such a wonderful, wonderful game.

And then oh dear lord, Half Life 2: Episode 2. That was... horrendous. It was the most surprising thing to happen at the game and something I entirely didn't expect. Wow.

And a lot more.

Although I've never actually cried in a game or movie, I have been quite close a few times.

Dragon Age: The post ritual talk with Morrigan.

KotOR 2: Coming to terms with how terrible it was compared to the first.

End of Half-life 2: Episode 2 when Eli dies mad me cry. It wouldn't have been so bad if Alyx wasn't there and he wasn't trying to comfort her as he dies. That part always makes me sad.

Oh shut up (can I say shut up here?). Listen. KotOR 2 didn't have the polish that the original did and had some plot holes and dead ends that were a bit of a drag, I'll admit that. But that doesn't mean that it was a bad game. You know what, I'm gonna put my money where my mouth is, being my original rpg and xbox game, I'm going to say that I like the second game more than the first. Even if it's just by a slight margin, I enjoy playing 2 more than I do one. Image IPB Call me crazy, call it blasphamy, call it whatever the heck you want.

Shadow of the Colosuss. didnt actually move me to tears, but that is exceedingly difficult to do, and it came damn close. and still does whenever i beat it.

... god that game is so darn emotional. you'd think it would be hard to get emotionally attatched to a character who says no more than thirty words in the game, but you would be terribly wrong.

I never metioned SotC because it's not the kind of game that really has these huge emotional pushes. It's a game of silent ambiguity of whether or not what you're doing is right and the game is gosh-darned depressing with that. Although I must say, when Agro went down with the bridge... is it wrong to get more upset over the loss (well, at the time) of my faithful companion and horse more than Aeris (which, I'm sorry to say, did not move me at all)?

I don't think I cried outright, but the epilogue of Republic Commando where you had to leave Sev behind moved me. It was more out of frustration than sadness, because I'm a stickler for no-man-left-behind gameplay when possible.

As cheesy as it is, Kingdom Hearts. Seriously.

I wasn't crying, but the end did make me throat lump up.

I think any game that you really get sucked into, and learn to love the characters, follow their story, and to see it end, their own stories progress and resolve, anything like that can really make you feel some emotions towards the game.

Good story telling makes me fell emotions.

So ME1 was a fantastic story and ill admit I got a little teary eyed when I choose Ash to live and left Kaidan and he said his goodbye.

Final fantasy 10 also at the end were yuna says bye to tidus, that was really sad... I also got just a little teary eyed in final fantasy 13 when sazh finds his kid and he turns to crystal which leads up to almost shooting vanille and leading players on to beleive he killed himself.

Stop making excuses! you admitted it yourself, the sooner you realise it the better you will feel. KotOR 2 is crap mate.

Well, I will say I'm a pretty emotional guy, even more so when I've been drinking lol. The first ME almost got me at the end. You think you're possibly dead...then Shepard comes out of no where and you can't help but feel like woo hoo the hero lives!

Also, when Aeris died in ff7, I teared a little.

Another heart of stone here, no game, movie or book has ever made me cry. Morrigan's farewell and ring epilogue in DAO came close though. Mirror's Edge's ending is pretty emotional too.

That's your opinion, I have to agree with the other poster. KOTOR2 IMO surpassed KOTOR1 in quite a few ways and as for the it's bugs etc. The Restoration Project is coming soon and should fix and add a few things. KOTOR 2 had the better characters, prestige classes and better influence system.

Its just a shame it seems like Square Enix has lost there spark.
