Mass Effect 2 is hardly an RPG, which makes it in fact easier to play. I do believe the rating for the game is M, no? If this guy is an adult, I'm sure he'd be able to figure it out.

So basically what Zeromystic is saying is that he is totally incapable of reading an INSTRUCTION MANUAL. What an incredible idea. Read the instruction manual? What's that?



Instead, zeromystic is suggesting Bioware create an "Infant Mode" with step by step instructions. Each enemy has a sign over his head with an arrow that says "Shoot Here by pressing 'X' button."



Also, if you have had problems with other Bioware games...why the hell do you keep buying them? Dumb ass.

These threads are still around? I was about to say that lack of knowledge of ME 1 is going to hinder you but alas, your problems would have been solved had you looked properly. Seriously, I can understand people having trouble with playing Vanguards as the learning curve is steep but this is basic gaming 101. Grenade launcher icon is right freaking there. Lastly, this is how to tell if the cause was a bad teacher or a bad student:

You sir/maam are lying, because when left shift is held only the pistol icon can be seen not the pistol and the grenade launcher, so you fail.
Here is a video I took in the game starting from the time I picked up the grenade launcher to holding left shift and this video proves that there is no grenade launcher ICON:

Now that I have taken from inside the game itself proving that everyone who says the icon is there, is in fact 100% wrong, there is no grenade launcher icon to select. Now that I have proof UNTIL the instructions are given ON HOW TO ACTUALLY ACCESS THE GRENADE LAUNCHER FROM WITHIN THE LEFT SHIFT SCREEN, THEN TALK... UNTIL THEN SHUT UP.

But lets cut the crap now. We are going to look at sheer facts.
People said that after you picked up the grenade launcher you hold left shift and the grenade launcher icon is just there, but that video I posted shows that to be completely untrue.

SO HERE IS AN OVERVIEW:
I Picked up the grenade launcher, held left shift, was asked to equip the grenade launcher but have no explanation on how to access the weapon bar in order to equip it. There is no grenade icon on the screen at all after left shift is held and you can see that so no one can say now that it's me.

If I am supposed to equip the grenade launcher, then I better be explained how to even access the grenade launcher ICON which you are not.

Saying the weapon bar does not eman ANYTHING without the rest of the instructions explaining anything about it.

You are supposed to be being told what the weapon bar is instead of just access it. I see no weapon bar in that video do you?

BioWare needs full instructions.

Weapon  bar. Get it? Somewhere where there's weapons? Maybe a pistol?
Maybe try opening options to see the controls for switching weapons?

The game clearly explained that to you. These were very understanding instructions, even my 5 year old brother knew what to do.(I'm super serious here)
I've just took my time and read every post what is in this thread and first I thought that you bought a broken game but after reading it through I understood that you, sir, are a complete idiot. If you don't try something by yourself than you won't be able to procede further. I was caught in these type of situations as well but in other games when I was young, but I wasn't bashing developers for not putting out more deep instructions. I was just trying out stuff and somehow I managed to procede further in the game. Will you take your mothers hand to cross a street when you will be still an adult. I think not because you will be able to figure out by yourself that you won't run away in a middle of the street.
Did you read your game manual. Because mine clearly says this piece of text:
SWITCHING WEAPONS
The Squad command interface also allows you to switch Sheaprd's and the squad's weapons. Use your mouse to highlight Shepard's current weapon. This reveals all curent weapons available for use.

So you can now stop blaming BioWare for not putting out instructions because they did.
And please, if you're really that not familiar with RPG or even with games in general than read the freaking Game Manual which comes with every game(99%).

EDIT: Every one is ****ing at you only because your first post was full of negative and angry emotions in it. So there is no wonder that everyone else starts bashing you. If you, yes you, would have kindly asked for help than they would have helped to you without saying that you're an idiot and all(only real douches do that). I'm usually very kind to all people but after reading your 1st or 2nd post I thought you're an ungratful idiot and douchebag only because it was clearly that you don't want any help at all and stand to your own opinion which would have made sence if you haven't been all that angry and blaming BioWare for that.
