It's a bar, with weapons on it. I've never played the PC version, and its still blatantly obvious from your video what you're meant to do.
Hell, the only Bioware game I've played on the PC is DA:O, which has a completely different interface.
Furthermore, as has already been pointed out, its in the goddamn manual. If you can't be bothered to read that stuff when you get stuck, you can't complain. They didn't print it just to torch the forests in Brazil, you know?

Oh, and because you're special here's the online manual link, in case you bought a digital download copy.
http://cdn.steampowe...df?t=1267040526

Now, I know this is tricky, so follow these instructions carefully.  Copy the link into the URL bar at the top of your internet browser (You may need to refer to your manual to work out what that is.  For me, its obviously the bar with the URL in it.  But I can see how this could be confusing.  After all, there was no tutorial when I installed Chrome)

I can tell you what it says in the video as well, it says select the grenade launcher from teh weapon bar.

that is clear on what it is asking, you're right. But guess what I still cannot equip the grenade launcher because I don't know where it is because it doesn't explain anything about the weapon bar.

Can't equip something I cannot find, I cannot find something I wasn't explained how to find.

And the manual does not explain anything either, the ingame instruction and the manual are IDENTICAL neither one explain anything understandable about the weapon bar.

This is an ongoing trend in all BioWare games, BioWare makes a game and usually revolves what the main thing in the game you use to play, then leaves you absolutely no instructions on how to use what they design the game around.

So everyone ****** off.

If I am supposed to be using the weapon bar, then i better be being explained how to use it, what it is...everything...instead as usual, I get nothing, and get stuck and cannot progress.

Guys let's just help this poor guy with his problem so that he play this game ;)

Anyways, what you should do, is that if you couldn't understand the basic ingame tutorial that you should have used a game manual(a manual explaining how to use a particular software package or computer system. ).
I can even highlight the text regarding switching weapon(Again):
Switching weapons
The squad command interface(L.Shift) also allows you to switch Shepard's and the squad's weapons. Use your mouse to highlight Shepard's current weapon. This reveals all current weapons.

So you can see now that BioWare already had given you the ful instructions regarding the game. The only thing you needed to do is just read the manual and thats all.

Conclusion: Since your accusation is walse in every single way it is possible. I say BioWare is falsely accused and you should thank them not bash them for creating a great game.

I hope this helped.

I did that already, but thanks for the support XD

It's weird because I have the Xbox version and I figured it out >.>

I think I did that 2 times already because clearly he doesn't want to listen at someone who tells him that he is an idiot.

I actually read the manual while the game was installing because there was nothing for me to do. You can learn a lot of things by only reading a game manual.

Seriously, you're being deliberately obtuse at this point. It tells you to move your mouse over the weapon bar. Can we accept that a pistol is a weapon? Is the pistol on a bar? Then move your mouse over it.

I take it you're also ignoring this

Use your mouse to highlight Shepard's current weapon. This reveals all current weapons...

Its been posted multiple times.  Its on page 10 of the manual I linked you to.

Going to go back to your problems. Because its hilarious.

2,3 and 3 again (2 3's? Awesome) are all the same problem addressed here. Power usage in particular is heavily covered in the manual.

1 - Working as intended. You're meant to be able to get more information without progressing the conversation. As explained in the manual, conversation options on the right hand side progress the storyline, whereas those on the left let you explore in depth. If you get stuck, try a different option.

4 - As best I can tell, you've not actually clicked on the safe (Or however you select objects in the PC version). You have to use it to get to the bypass screen (Which is explained handily again, in the manual I linked you to).

So, it looks to me like all these issues can be resolved by reading the manual. Isn't that shocking ;-)

Well assuming that he will eventually take his time and read the manual which he probably did, as he said in the last post he made. Either he didn't actually read it or he just won't admit that he is wrong

Actually he's on an artificial lung, his brain is underdeveloped and the "breathing" part (along with 80% of the rest of the brain) just never developed.

Don't be so hard on him guys, he's speshul.

Use your mouse to highlight Shepard's CURRENT WEAPON. THIS REVEALS ALL CURRENT WEAPONS AVAILABLE TO USE.

Is it that hard to understand that?

Is that to hard to understand you ask? You do realize that you just asked the dumbest question on this forum ever.

So despite never even being made aware of the weapon bar in the first place like I amsupposed to be, you and everyone else is saying that I am just magically supposed to know what the weapon bar is without ever even being made aware it even exists.

Explain to me how the hell someone is supposed to know about something that they aren't even made aware even exists, and explain to me how the hell someone is even supposed to ask that, when i'm not made aware of that in order to ask.

Everyone on this forum replying isn't too swift if they are saying I am magically sup[posed to know about things you are never made aware of in teh 1st place, then it's my fault for not even having any comprension about it.

If BioWare had made mention that the weapon bar was (Insert whatever) then at least people would have a stronger argument because then you could blame me for not exploring.

But you cannot blame me for not explaoring something i didn't know could be explored. That is BioWares fault for not making me aware that that onscreen system is even explorable.

I am in a totorial so therefore if i am supposed to be using something, then you can't not make people aware of what is interactive and what is not.

Actually I didn't know that the menu is interactive but somehow I knew what is a weapons bar. Every gamer who can think will figure out what is a weapons bar in 5 seconds.

TIP: Try to move your mouse to the weapon silluette(which is pistol) and the menu will show up.

I really can't understand why are you complaining here. If you didn't understand what a simple, understandable tutorial tells you to do then you should have read the game manual. If you still didn't understand what both of these instructions say, well, you should go to YouTube and watch some Mass Effect 2 vids if someone needs to show you how to select a weapon.

The thing is, there's no need to know what the weapon bar is.

You're told to left shift and mouseover your current weapon.  When you press left shift, it should be obvious that the weapon there might be a good thing to mouse over.

Furthermore, there's a picture of it in the manual.  If you can't read it, at least look at the pretty pictures.

EDIT: "But you cannot blame me for not explaoring something i didn't know could be explored. That is BioWares fault for not making me aware that that onscreen system is even explorable."

Sorry, but its in the manual.  Again, if you read it, it explains everything.  Complaining because you didn't read the documentation and then complaining that Bioware haven't given you the tools to understand is just insane.

But seriously ZeroMystic, your defense will never make sense because if they never told you what the weapon bar is, then you will never know. You complain that they never said what it is, but if they haven't said what it is then how are you supposed to know what it is if they never told you what it is if you never knew what it was how could you know what it is if they told you then you could've never known what the weapon bar is because they never ever said what it is so in no way could you ever know what it is even though you asked they will never tell you because you never asked but you did ask so they tell you but you still complain even though complaining gets you nowhere and if you actually read this whole thing to this point then you are so dumb because right now I'm talking out of my butt and am making no sense which is what you do you don't make sense you say one thing that doesn't make any sense it's just a vicious circle of stupidity and if you are still reading this then you have no life ZeroMystic yes I am talking to you so just calm down baby and have a piece of cheese.

You're told to left shift and mouseover your current weapon.

Ok you say the game actually has an instuction that says that. Ok let's put up your supposed facts against actual in game video footage, and let see if it says mouse over your current weapon. If what you say is true then this video will show a pop up message on the screen that says MOUSE OVER YOUR CURRENT WEAPON.

Here is the video now according to you there is an instruction in this video that actually has a messagee that comes up on the screen that actually says mouse over your current weapon So lets see that instruction
http://www.xfire.com/video/23d5e1/

Well that's very interesting Why is it you claim i'm wrong, but yet what you said is in the game doesn't exist It's interesting how you're the one lying, and I'm the telling the truth, but yet no one pays attention to your lies, and says my facts are not true. I still have yet to have anyone in here show me anywhere in the game on any of the pop up hints from the start of the game to the point you pic up the grenade launcher, where it explains anything about the weapon bar.

Why is it people keep saying there is non-existant info in the game, then trying to come off like I am magically supposed to know about something you were never told about and have no way of even asking, BECAUSE you were never told about it.

People's opinions in this thread about what someone SHOULD DO OR COULD HAVE DONE, means nothing when it comes down to the instruction should have been there in the first place.

BioWare needs to smarten up and learn how to make proper instructions. If your going to make a tutorial then you either put all the information in it, or you don't make one at all.

it's really simple, If I am being told to equip the grenade launcher from the weapon bar, then I am suppsoed to be being made aware of the weapon bar, and it's functions. Without that missing information, in game problems occure for the person that actually needs and is supposed to have that information so they can continue playing, and topics like these are formed, and people don't like it.

People here are sick of topics like these, but yet do nothing to help the problem. Well I'm sick of running into problems in BioWare's stuff due to lack of instructions.

The problem is there are no in game  instructions about the weapon bar and there shuld have been because you are being told to use something that you are up to that point oblivious too.

Why are you not ebinge xplained anything about the weapon bar if that's what you are supposed to me mainly using throughout the game.

Anyone who thinks that is not a little messed up has issuse.
