Your response about how there are 3 other instructions that allow you to continue the playing is all well and good, not to mention interesting.
See because you are forced to equip and use the grenade launcher or else you cannot move on.
So as you said there are multiple instructions in the game that allow you to continue playing, but that's where your knowledge, logic, and answer come to a dead stand still and would only hold totally true if and only if the instruction that is supposed to be inside the game that explains how to equip the grenade launcher is there being explained to you.
Doesn't matter if it's in the instruction manual or not which BTW it's not I know because I did check/read the instruction manual, and the instruction in there is pretty much the same as the one in the game, it syas use it, doesn't explain how.
So once again flawed logic and non-supported assumed claims about how just because everyone here somehow magically seems to know things, then so should everyone else, doesn't hol up against actual in game proof.
I would love to see any one of you have the balls to try and talk about this all in teh same room face to face, since I know that wouldn't happen why don't people grow up and grow some balls (or ovaries if you're a female) and call me and audio chat me on xfire regarding this, I'd like to see where your head is actually at.

DarthCaine, I expected nothing less than that type of response from someoen such as yoruself and expect it from others here as well because what you said is coming from someone who spent their entire time trash talking.ZeroMystic, nobody is going to waste their time talking to morons
classic excuse when called out, because when trash talkers are called out like this to the point they are being asked to come out from what they think they are safe from (Which is their so called screen name) they back down and make up all excuses, contradict themselves, and then continue contradicting themselves.
Your responses reflect how you are, and in this case you like to talk non-sense, your responses are worthless anyway, then when called out and confronted, you give the classic cop out of how you don't want to waste your time whcih contradicts itself, (which in turn shows most of your responses to be nothing more than nonsense and untrue).
Next you will now try to come out with a whole reason and start trying to use that reason about how it's not that you dont' wantt o talk to me and how you have better things to do with your time, and the classic cop outs to get out of and get around being called out.
Then will come the classic deflections, of you and people like you, who will try and changge the subject.
And all that time you will be saying every so often how you don't want to waste your time and this situation goes in a circle with someone such as yourself.
All you do is like to talk, hide behind screen names, spout nonsense that has no basis of fact, agree with others who also have no facts or logic, and then you claim you don't want to waste your time talking to me in audi chat.
If what you are saying is true about how you don't want to waste any time on me or this topic then I shoudln't see your name in any of my topics any more for any reason. If you do respond, you just backed up my point and everything I just said and everything you have said to me throught this entire topic will be made invalid due to the fact you don't know what your doing at all.
Now if you want to talk you will talk to me in audio chat on xfire, if you really do have nothing to say to me as you said you did because it's wasting time according to you, then you will not be responding int hie topic from this point on.

Did you miss the whole paragraph on intuitive or are you just that effin dense? I appreciate you had problems starting to play the game. I appreciate that you are no more capable then a 5 year old. You seem to want the scorn and derision that can be heaped upon you. Now you want to call us all out for actually being nice and prove to us that mass effect 2 is a bad game because you can barely seem to notice that the big green button on your computers front is the on button? Multiple people have tried to point you to how to get help. You shoot back with it didn't tell me that. Wow, you got some balls there... mosquito size. Now I should have taken the high road and not posted back. But you get to be the vent for my anger today thanks.ZeroMystic wrote...

I'm in the camp where I felt ME1&2 was rather intuitive, but I can absolutely see how one could get lost or confused. The ME franchise is reaching across the genre isle, and picking up new fans, and while lots of people get it, 1% of 100,000 is still a lot of people.
I'm surprised I didn't see more of a community reaction, like: "Here, let me help you." The OP was upset, started flaming everything, probably wrote the post upset, and then got nothing but little ****y whiny responses from everybody which then resulted in him ****ing and whining back. I didn't read all 10 pages, but damn ...
Did anybody realize that he was mad because he wanted to play the game and couldn't?
It's ridiculous to assume he should have been able to figure something out after reading him express that he couldn't. I have a friend, who is very intelligent, loves gaming, but does not generally play RPGs, or RPG-lites. He played Dragon Age: Origins (DA:O) for a few hours without realize that you could move the aimer when paused to target enemies. Same concept holds true for Mass Effect. For the uninitiated, it feels like a TPS, but you can pause and aim?
Try to imagine that for the first time. You're instructed to hold the Left Bumper, or whatever, and the game pauses. Let's use ME as an example. It's a shooter. Sure, its an RPG, but it's a shooter. And to my knowledge, it is the only shooter I've ever played that allows you to pause and aim. I can see how just that aspect of the game alone could be counter-intuitive.
About the dialog ... Consider one is actually role playing, and selecting the answers based on what they would say. Let's say they don't know the "unspoken rule" that "right = progress / left = investigate" and "top = good guy / bottom = douschebag". What if I simply never choose the answer on the right, because I don't think my character would say that. Granted, I can play the game, but I'm trying to step aside and take another look.
I guess what I'm saying is I wish this guy was not immediately branded an idiot by this community. That's just disappointing to me.

Maybe it had something to do with, oh I don't know, the OP coming in here and saying it was the worst game he's ever played based off of the first 10 minutes, all becasue he couldn't equip the grenade launcher. Zero's defense is absurd and ridiculous, and I'm guessing you haven't read through this whole thread or else you would not be saying that.
You should have A Fhaol Bhig PM you convo they had in a private message, then you 'll see what an idiot Zero is. Better yet, I can do that for you since I have it.

In the first post he says he doesn't want any help, then later he's complaining why nobody offered it to him
Lots of people told him multiple ways of switching weapons and he still complains

But there was NO WAY I was about to read ten pages of people whining at each other. But I do appreciate you pointing that out, DarthCaine. I read the first couple pages, I believe, and don't really recall anyone offering help, just most IQ, Idiot, and FPS jokes.
Just made me a little sad that we'd be so willing and quick to ostracize somebody. And someone reacting negatively to being thrashed with numerous insults is really not that strange : /

It seems that you aren't familiar with ZeroMystic.
He's an incredibly incompetent gamer who couldn't even figure out how to open locked items in DA:O.
He's less capable at playing games than I was at the age of 5.

1. I can repeat myself(I actually don't get bored with that) about the weapon switching:
USE YOUR FREAKING MOUSE TO HIGHLIGHT SHEPARD"S CURRENT WEAPON SILHOUETTE.
How can you not understand that?
2. OH I really would like to talk to you on Xfire and hear how absurd your accusations are.
