I wanted to string both Ashley and Liara along to get the confrontation scene, but somehow ended up with Liara the second time!

Any advice?

I did some searches here that didn't work, so I tried Google and found this. However, the answers are inconclusive!

I would really appreciate some help!

seama there is a good break down near the bottom.. ending up with Liara@would mean you disrecepted Ashlys family at some point or told her she was out of line.

It's called roleplaying people, why we always gotta question people's motives I do not know. Anyways, there's a way you can "Paragon" Ash and Liara. Most of the time it's simply choosing the Paragon dialogue option, but sometimes it might be trickier (like when Ash says "thought you'd be chatting it up with whatsherface". Basically you treat Ash and Liara like you do chicks irl: Nod your head and agree with everything they say.



It's actually funny cuz there's no way Ash or Kaiden would act like that towards their CO, even if Shepard told them to be informal.

You know.. there are always full of options to go "NO LIARA, I HAVE NO FEELINGS FOR YOU".. maybe you didn't select them because you were afraid that it would make feel like a jerk. So instead of being polite and letting her down nicely, you decided to not to tell her off and told her "Yes Liara, I do have feelings for you."

Reality is I just wanted to see the confrontation scene as well. So any more tips for this?

I don't remember being mean to Ashley, but might have disagreed with her on the issue of alien races or the religion question...

The best way to do it is just keep picking the top-right options whenever you talk to them. That's the default 'Paragon' options, and it keeps you nice and sweet so they go all gooey over you.

Even though I played through ME1 a total of 7 times, I never really managed to get that confrontation scene. But then again, I never actually worked on it.



To the OP, if you insist on seeing that scene, I'd suggest you simply YouTube it. I've seen it on YouTube. It somewhat feels wrong, but it's also pretty hilarious. Ha!

Hi I'm new and I'm addicted to Quaizar.Onto the point I managed to get the confrontation scene on my first and only go.I'm embarrased that I just got Mass Effect for my 360 but if it was up to me I'd have had it a long time ago.

And the "neutral" option is good too. Shepards slumbs his head and says "Should have seen this one coming"
