I dont know if ths has already been posted but I havent seen one so here it is...
I downloaded the patch today and now the game switches me out to the desktop every min or two. Doesn't crash or do anything harmfull to the computer (as far as I can tell) but it is really annoying when you get killed because of it. Its not happening at any specific time as I have experienced it during cut scenes, combat, loading and plain old walking around. I am running Windows 7 32 bit, Please help.

I used to have this problem in all games when running an older version of AVG 9 in the background. Do you only get this problem in Mass Effect 2?

Yes, only in Mass effect 2 as of the patch 1.01. I am not running AVG, but I do run Kapersky, which I have not had problems with before.

Ok I don't know how or why but the problem has fixed itself and no longer happens. Weird but I won't complain

It was just something stealing focus, also did you happen to hit the windows key?
