Military Tactician: Chuko Liang, a Chinese military leader renowned for his strange tactics.. This guy was trapped in a city with only a hundred soldiers, while the enemy had almost 100.000. Chuko's solution? He opened up the city gates and stood atop them playing a lute. Convinced by this strange behavior that Chuko had planned some sort of trap, the enemy left.
Military General: Patton.

Militairy leader: Josef Pilsudski. Just after WWI, he led Poland in a war against Russia. Under his leadership they conquered most of what is now Belarus and the Ukraine and a large part of Russia. After the tide turned for the Soviets in the Russian civil war they managed to push the Polish army all the the way back to Warsaw. Luckily for us the Polish won that battle. Historians say that if they had lost, Eastern Europe might have become Soviet territory a full twenty-five years before the end of WWII.
Being Polish I have always laughed at those that under estimated our worth in battle thru the years.
John III Sobieski would be a great leader and tactician. Winning many battles that were unwinnable and leading the largest calvary charge in history.

chuko liang or zhuge liang is a military genius during the chinese three kingdom era...the stonemaze, wooden ox, repeatable crossbow, pincer movement, using element of nature to his advantage as well as master in mind games, as a fan of RoTK series as well as Sanguo Yan Yi, i have to agree he is among the best tactician/strategist the world have ever seen.

Alexander the Great wins this, because that's what he does. The first thing he did was conquer a superpower. Then from there he just kept on winning. Against skilled enemies, he won. Against enemies with significant numerical superiority, he won. Against enemies with a terrain advantage, he won. Against new enemies and tactics he wasn't experienced against, he won. Against war elephants, horse archers on the other side of a river and an island nation with a wall all around it, he won. And he did it from the front.

Alexander also personally led the charge and more often than not the changed the tide of battle himself with his companion unit... so he is definitely an awesome general.. i think he is a good all-rounder too

But I would bet on one of the commanding officers in the finnish winter war, from what I've read the Finns did one hell of a job pushing the soviet armies back even tough they were severly outnumbered.

Military General: Alexander the Great - A brilliant general, leader, and commander and with his state of the art weapons and well trained soldiers and his fleet of calvary ,conqured most of the known world at the time.
Military Tactician:Hitler - Although he made very bad decisions when it comes to military stragety he was a master speaker and with his speaking skill he rose from common failed painter to one of the most powerful men in europe no small feet in its own right. He was able to rally a oppressed and broken people and made germany the most advanced 20th century country. He was a visonary when it came to modern military armorments his soldiers had the best weapons, the best gear, the best tanks. Through out his entire campaign. Germany military design's for there weapons can still be seen today. None of it would of happened if hitler did not rise to power.
And no...im not a ****.

Military Leader: General Romel - He was one of the fore fathers of 20th century warfare and a master tank tactician. And if normandy wouldn't of happened when he was on leave for his birthday and the his fleet of tanks weren't further inland the history of D day would of been quite different.

Hitler wasn't a tactician, he was a strategist, and a poor military one at that, but in the political spectrum he was good at fooling the people into thinking that they wanted what he was offering...in exchange for their ethics.
