I've just been on IGN and aparently the new DA game which is due out in early 2010 is gonna be on handheld as well as console and PC, i'm a tad bit confused as i dont think a hand held would be able to cope with an epic such as DA:O, so unless its gonna be a spin off i cant see it working, or is this proof that EA might try and mess with BioWare games and screw them up in a essense.
Here is the link where i got my information http://uk.ps3.ign.co.../1067667p1.html, i'm slighlty woried now that EA might have its game ruining meddling hands in the next DA game, what do you guys think?

It might be something similar to Journeys.

My guess is it will be an expanded version of Journeys, that sweet flash game they had before Dragon Age released that unlocked stuff in Origins for you if you beat it/beat it with every class/got the achievements in it.
I would guess this because A) its style would work perfectly on an iPhone,
the surveys asked all kinds of questions about whether you'd pay for an expanded version of it on a portable (I'd prefer DS to iPhone, but that's just 'cause I don't have an iPhone, and probably never will), and C) as you said, the actual DA games would be **** on a handheld.
Edit: Gotdamn ninja.

I rather liked Journeys, especially since it combined 1. Free 2. Gave minor bonus items for DA:O and 3. Continue play on a different computer (IIRC). The biggest thing that annoyed me was that followers in camp did not auto-level--so I got the bard to join my party, used him and the mage for a sequence of major fights, and then after trading the bard out and the female warrior back in, she was two levels down on the other characters and started dying early in every fight.
As a result, I never did a second playthrough--and I can't see buying any subsequent version.
I *really* hope that the handheld is a different game and doesn't limit what BW tries to include in the "real" game on PC/console. Spore:Origins is a fun game on my iPhone but it's not Spore...
If there's a good DA game on DS, that might be fun for my kids I suppose...as long as I can disable persistent gore and limit the b00b13s...

We still don't know what platform. The PC and Consoles are covered, but the portable could be a handheld or it could be an app for a phone that ties into the game somehow. Maybe something like Journeys for the iPhone? Maybe a PSP or DS game of some kind? Until EA makes a more specific announcement, all we really know is it's got something to do with Dragon Age.

IGN says iPhone, unless you have another source?
