Hi there. There´s a horrible glitch in Dragon Age PS3 version, and I´ve lost my 70 hours save because of that!!! I went into a huge room in the Lower Ruins of the Werewolfs with that phantom mother and defated her. Afterwars i grabbed the armor from the coffin and when i was trying to leave, there is a big metal door saying that i need a "Key" to get out. That is the only door in the room, and I´m stucked. My last save was in this room and the auto-save too. The last save before that was 20 hours ago and I´ll not play the game again because of that glitch!!! I´ve searched the internet and many guys having the same problem than I.

I´ve contacted the EA Dragon Age customer support and that´s the answer:

Now I´m stucked in the game and cannot continue because of that bug. And maybe if I play again, the glitch can happen again. Please, help me Bioware!!! I have all the games that you´ve released: Star Wars, Baldurs Gate, Neverwinter, Mass Effect, Jade Empire, and never seen a problem like that... on the pc there may be problems and the comunity fix themselfs. But in a console version like my ps3 that´s a big problem without solution.

I think they simply reply to anyone who talks about an issue in the game in the same manner, I also think that the truth is that they don't really care .

Anyway I'm really sorry for you about this bug, it's frustrating.

I encountered this bug, however, the locked doors on mine were picked by Zevran, who had no lockpicking talents yet and a cunning of only 22.



If you were lucky enough to have a rogue present when this happened, give that a shot, otherwise, I have no clue.

I have Leliana and she cannot open the door... :-(
There´s a way that I can change my group in the room?

A possible solution might be to load the save and just set the game aside for like an hour just sitting there. That locked door thing sometimes happens when you've killed all the enemies, but they haven't registered as dead yet. Probably won't work, but whatever.

I think that is why is glitched on you. You place the full urn on the alter, kneel and pray, examine the urn, take a single sip, take the urn and dump the water back into the pool. This will unlock the door.

Actually there is a small room that has a secret pool of water in it. You need to fill the earthen jug with water, plce it on the alter, kneel before it and pray. Then once you have done this examine the earthen jug once again and then drink from it. Once this is done you must then empty the jug into the pool , when you enter the water from the jug into the pool you will hear a clinking sound. SURPRISE ITS THE KEY!!! No glitch just EXTREMELY TRICKY!!

You posted EA's intention to fix this problem 1 year ago. I just bought this game last week and yet I just ran into the same problem. Obviously the 2nd poster is correct. Lousy, lying customer service. I lost 10 hours of my game and my life. If I ever buy EA again it will certainly be 2nd hand from now on.
