Honestly, from the start I knew that the character who would probably win (due to the structure of the game) would be someone who got to a middling number by Phase 3 and whom no one really cared enough about to "kill" -
so overly popular and hated characters will go down quickly in round 3, while the ones no one really cares much about (as long as they have more points than others that no one really cares about) will likely rise to the top.
You saying that about Wrex all but guaranteed his losing. :innocent:

I missed this earlier. I was never crazy about Tali as a character for various reasons. However, I'm not one of those vengeful haters. In short, it's because she's popular. I have this thing, that whenever I see a character constantly winning polls and getting hundred pages long threads, an urge to knock them down a peg begins boiling inside me. I feel a need to humble them and show that even the mighty are not invincible. Usually I fail in the attempt, but I still try. It's the same with Morrigan. Except unlike Tali I genuinely despise that character as a person. Tali is just an unfortunate victim of her popularity. Nothing more, nothing less.
I have no intention of going out of my way to smite her if there's a Mass Effect 2: Hurt or Heal, since I only need to do it once to feel sated. It probably means my chosen character will be fighting over second place unless someone else goes out of their way to smite Tali. I'm willing to live with that though. It is, after all, just a game.
Finally, someone who feels the same way.

Unfortunately, I doomed Wrex to save another by giving him all those points. It's not the most popular who wins, it's playing on the psychology of everyone involved on who they don't want to win. And the dude with the most points is not the one they want to win. Nor is the one with the rabid fanbase.
Will the one I actually want to win make it until the end? I'm curious to find out.
Should have still been Lorik Qui'in, though.

Lol. I was to late in this game. When I came at the end of phase 2, my favorite was already dead.
But here i can yet found many second choices!

I missed this earlier. I was never crazy about Tali as a character for various reasons. However, I'm not one of those vengeful haters. In short, it's because she's popular. I have this thing, that whenever I see a character constantly winning polls and getting hundred pages long threads, an urge to knock them down a peg begins boiling inside me. I feel a need to humble them and show that even the mighty are not invincible. Usually I fail in the attempt, but I still try. It's the same with Morrigan. Except unlike Tali I genuinely despise that character as a person. Tali is just an unfortunate victim of her popularity. Nothing more, nothing less.Zaxares wrote...

I have no intention of going out of my way to smite her if there's a Mass Effect 2: Hurt or Heal, since I only need to do it once to feel sated. It probably means my chosen character will be fighting over second place unless someone else goes out of their way to smite Tali. I'm willing to live with that though. It is, after all, just a game.
