At this point my only goal is to disprove the theory that Wrex or Joker would win. I have another fave (other than the obvious) and am curious to see how that character will fare. Quite frankly, i don't see much chance and hence, i don't really care who of the remaining candidates wins. It may very well be Ash.

@Smore: You obviously can't take it that people like me are constantly hurting Tali, as I openly admidded that I myself support either Joker or Wrex, I guess you try to somehow take revenge and disproof my prediction that either of these two is going to win. Because let be honest here, both Wrex and Joker are really popular characters without much enemies. I hardly know anyone who hates Wrex or Joker. They are awesome characters that everyone likes, not just their fanbases.

You seem to have misunderstood...
From the very beginning i knew that Tali had no chance to win (maybe if one of her fans called in the supporters from "the thread", but we didn't). 
As for myself, i had never hurt anyone before the start of the 'tear down' phase, unlike certain supporter of Joker who from the very beginning made it public knowledge that "i'm not going to let Tali win" and "it's obvious that Wrex is going to win". 

That and only that attitude is what drives me to hurt Wrex. You can certainly take it some kind of retribution and wouldn't  be far from the truth. Still, you've done everything within the rules of the game and i'm doing everything within the rules. If anything, maybe you feel the same as i felt from the beginning of the game.

For the records: i have nothing against Wrex's character, though i think he is rather average. Some people who are fond of this kind of character, idolize him, some hate him, some simply don't care. I belong to the last group, never used him in the game, only on his sidequest.

You claim Wrex and Joker are popular and without many 'enemies'. This is without doubt. However, the concept of being an 'enemy' of a video game character is unknown to me. For better or worse, i simply don't care about one or the other character.
As for them, they are certainly 'cool', and i admit that Joker has his moments but for me neither is as genuine character as Tali. Saying that they are universally liked is an overstatement. Some of us are just able to tell the difference between liking a character and being indifferent towards it.
 
And now, due to my preferences i get separated, marked as 'Talimancer' and what not. No, thanks. I'm a fan of hers, and yes, i romanced her in ME2, like the character but that's it. I refuse to be a ' Talimancer', even though i don't believe the word to have a negative meaning.

Sorry for the rant, i just wanted to clarify that the view of an individual - may it seem all so rational and full of logic - is not necessarily true. This is a fact.
Above fact is true even in the case of my own views. That is another fact. 

All in all, keep in mind that this is a game. About video game characters. It's still fun to see people get all defensive and personal when being faced with the same kind of action they have executed before. :happy:

Again, I'm not saying you're part of these crazies, I wouldn't know since I haven't seen you posting anywhere else than here. But if you're not part of it you would surely understand what I'm trying to say here.

It seems we've reached a consensus, then. 

btw, i used to post in the Tali support thread (1.0) but left because i found that even the most reasonable fans started to run in circles, discussing the same topics over and over. Not talking about the not-so-reasonable fans...  Posting only in a Dragon Age-related and an 'off-topic' group now.

I would really like it if this doesn't turn into one of "those games" where you have political maneuverings and cajoling and threats and whatnot trying to get people to spend their turn doing this or not doing that.

@Luc0s - I think I gave Tali a total of 5 points. I gave that many, I believe, to quite a few characters, including ones dead in round 1. Yet I'm almost exclusively going to be taking points from Joker and Wrex for the foreseeable future. And I don't post on the Tali fan threads.  Also, for the record, I'm not a big fan of Wrex at all - he's possibly my least favorite character from ME1.  Joker wasn't much of a favorite from ME1 for me either, sorry.  I like Admiral Kahoku more than either of them.  And Alenko.  And Liara.
So all your assumptions fail for me, and I'm sure for many others.
Please stop making them - and EVERYONE, please stop criticizing what other people choose to do on their turn. Boo-hoo if your favorite character goes down or your least favorite wins - what do they win, really? This is a silly internet forum game.

It is as irrational to get bent out of shape over who wins or loses this as it is to get "creeped out" by what people post in a thread that if you have no interest in the topic of the thread then why are you reading it or creeped out by it?

I know someone else (not going to point fingers) is targeting the aliens in the list because of their personal feelings at players being able to romances "others" (the nicest way I can phrase this) - look, I don't care your reasoning - but PLEASE, so we all can have fun with this silly game, stop soapboxing on your personal morals, personal likes and dislikes, and personal vendettas.  Honestly, anymore campaigning against Tali or Ashley or Joker or anyone and I'm going to start arbitrarily throwing out some penalities.
