I have a question for anyone out there.  Is it possible to save Logain at the landsmeet and have Alistair marry Anora at the same time??  Does that makes sense?  Posted Image

Yes
hold on

EDIT:  Basically all you have to do is when doing Alistair's personal quest when you see a set of options in the dialogue one will say something along the lines "Everyone is out for themselves, you should learn that"

Thats all it takes.  Duringthe Landsmeet spare Loghain and say "but I thought you were going to marry Anora"

He will become king, get pissed and leave your party while Loghain will join.

Alistair really needs to think about what hes doing. His main reason he wants to kill loghain seems to be Duncan and Cailan died because of him. Would mostly practical Duncan want him dead or put to use to stop the blight like he and cailan wanted?

This was the best ending for me. Let Loghain sacrifice himself. I live to be head of the Fereldan Wardens, the people still have their hero, and they get a great King and Queen. Everyone is happy.

Yes, but wouldn't it be interesting to have Loghain and Alistair on your side as well as Alistair still agree to marry Anora? That would be an interestng twist to the game.

That really spoiled Alisater for me.  What part of "at any cost" did he not understand?

Loghain was a traitor who did not deserve the honor.

However he also did not deserve an impromptu execution.

Best to put him through the joining since we were only given two choices :P

Im not saying hes getting honour but better the greatest warden since garahael, the king and a generally good warden live and Loghain get the honour of a useful death

It's end the Blight at any cost, not make buddies with Loghain at any cost. It's perfectly understandable that Alistair thinks Loghain is not especially needed to end the Blight. You've been doing fine so far without Loghain's help, you can continue to do so.

It was a tough call, but in the end i decided to give Logain a second chance, I understand why he did the things he did. I also like to give people second chances. Alistair is one of my favorite characters and it was hard to let him go.

Not to make Loghain sound good here because he isn't but i think the reason he betrayed Cailan and wanted the throne was kinda to protect Fereldan from Orlais which is unnecessary but like Cork i can see why he done it.Too bad the **** tried to kill the Wardens cause if he had suceeded the Arch-Demon would just swap darkspawn bodies.
