Is there absolutely no way for me to post on the forums without a code? I played it on my friends console but would like to participate on the forums. Sucks if there is no way. The person traded the game too.
Take a look at the new Mass Effect figures coming soon

End of the year? Please tell me you're just making that up. I ordered these things 6 months ago. How long could it possibly take to manufacture them. It's not like they're even super-detailed as far as figures go.vometia wrote...
They've been withdrawn due to the mass indignation of those of us who wanted a Liara figure.Reaper Edge wrote...
What happened to the figures at the Bioware Store? I was going to order god-dammit!
Or alternatively, for an answer that involves less lying, they've apparently been delayed for a couple of months due to the manufacturer becoming congealed or something like that. ISTR they should be ready to ship near the end of the year.

I'm afraid that part was true. Here's the message I received from the Bioware Store:ebola9717 wrote...

We have just been informed by our action figure manufacturer (DC Direct) that there will be a significant delay in the release date for your ME2 Action Figures. This delay affects all stores selling this product. The exact release date has not been confirmed, but it will likely be in late November or December of this year.

As i can see the series 2 don't include Liara... what's with that one of the major characters coming in last series before 2012 ? :S
At this rate Mass Effect 3 will be out before you get a Liara figure

A delay in these, no matter how much detail may or may not be in them (until I hold it in my hand, I wont comment on that) do these figures not shipping at the original date really mean your life will grind to a halt, the world come to an end?
Take it easy, after all, they are atleast coming out, you just have to occupy yourself with something else.
As for the second series, Im sure to pre-order that when I can too, even if they delay them 100 times.

Yeah, I was very impressed by that. Most companies just do the "lol ur stuff's been delayed. You'll get it in months. Whatever. lol." type response if you're lucky enough to get any information at all, which is always rather irritating. In contrast to that, not only were the Bioware Store guys polite and apologetic, I really wasn't expecting the sort of free stuff they've offered by way of compensation, which was extremely cool of them.Si-Shen wrote...
Does it really matter if the figures are delayed? If you pre-ordered already, you got some free items added to your order atleast, most companies just say "sorry sucker" and leave it at that.

The black outfit would be so much better. Too bad.
I agree.
But the quality is better than I expected, so I will get my copy.

Just a word of warning: be *very* careful where you buy these things from if you're having them posted outside the U.S. I just discovered I was bilked pretty seriously for postage costs when ordering the ME2 comics from "a certain vendor" who also sells the figures (not the one in the OP); they must be pretty misleading as I'd never have agreed to the charges in question, namely $55. Each. They sent them out separately and charged $55 a time for a small $2.80 comic, about 5-10 times the going rate from my experience elsewhere (not counting the multiple charges).
You have been warned.
Now I have the fun and games of trying to get my money back. Which is unlikely to happen even if they did mislead me about the costs.
I got all ME comic in here, the postal is still higher than the total price of the comic, but at least it is more reasonable.

Whats causing so many delays?
Is it because their quality seems rather lackluster and they want to start over?
A delay followed by another delay seems rather serious.

For the record, that's where I got stung. I'm not sure if they got commission from the outrageous amount they charged me or if they were simply being unhelpful with presenting their postage options. All I know is that I'm normally careful about checking postage costs and would have never agreed to the amount in question.Hyper_gateway wrote...

Although TFAW would have been aware of the incongruous discrepency, they neither saw fit to confirm it with me beforehand nor made any efforts to put it right afterwards, their line being pretty much "that's too bad" which they stuck to rigidly.
I wouldn't recommend them to anyone outside North America. It could turn out to be more expensive than you expected. I mean a lot more expensive.
Maybe I should've checked harder and gone through my bank statements more thoroughly, though it's worth mentioning that the order confirmation made no mention of postage: they should've been a lot more open and helpful than they were. My order from TFAW was a very expensive mistake. Caveat emptor.
Edit: just to be clear, TFAW charged me $170.70 in postage costs for three small comics worth just $8.40 in total, in case anyone's wondering why I'm giving such dire warnings about ordering from them.

I'm not entirely sure I even want to think about that. I need to concentrate on something less unpleasant in order to dispel such unsavoury thoughts. Such as, I wonder what a volus looks like under that suit...Terror_K wrote...
