I haven't heard anything about that. So I doubt it.

That and it's always possible that the series 1 figures will be delayed again and again, and we'll still be waiting for them long after ME3 is released. ;)

Am I right to say that ME3 details will release the day these figures are released?

After all this waiting, I really just want these already. Here's hoping the end of April is the actual release date.

Yeah, at this point I'll just be happy to get my Tali figure. If someone else like NECA gets the license and does more, then all the better, but I just want my damn Tali figure please. >_<

I ordered thru Forbidden Planet and received an email saying they now expect to receive the figures in May Image IPB

The Reapers will have taken over by the time these figures come out...

I ordered mine through the Bioware store... I really, really hope they aren't set for May now. It better be the effin end of April still. I don't understand how DC Direct can mess up this bad. It's odd that the Dragon Age figures already came out, yet Mass Effect still hasn't. IMO it seems like Mass Effect would be priority being the more popular series? Unless they were releasing the DA ones because of DA 2.

Jimmeny. I just want ME toys; Shepard, Miranda, Tali, Garrus, Liara, Saren, Legion, Geth, husks, etc.

Seriously, the first game came out in what, 07?

Even Crysis 2 has toys in Target stores around here. This is completely ridiculous. Me fanbase > Crysis 2 fanbase, easily.

I don't think the problem is with the numbers of potential customers, but with DC Direct being incompetent when it comes to sticking with schedules. Unimax (the company that made the Crysis figures) didn't keep pushing their release back.

I had a dream about these a couple of nights ago, but when they were released, they came out wrong. Grunt was wearing his loyalty colours (which would actually make for a cool variant) and had the Mass Effect logo branded across his forehead for some reason, Shepard and Tali had been replaced with Samara and Jack, and Jack came with a red Incisor...

Haha it's funny you mention that because back when I was first getting these figures ( which was months ago at this point) I was debating whether to get two Grunts, so I could paint one his loyalty colors. Seems like with all these ridiculous delays the prices have been jacked up really high at almost every online retailer. I'm glad I ordered mine wayyy back when... but it doesn't look like I'll be shelling out anymore just for an extra Grunt fig.

So has anyone else been told of any delays, or are we still good to go for April?

Nope still says April 27th, since they haven't bumped it again, looks like beginning of May is when we'll see it in stores. As for the Crysis 2 figures, those are meant for Mass Market retailers and are subject to more oversight by the big box retailers than specialty shop items like most DC Direct figures are.

I find it funny that DC Comics is making the figures but Dark Horse publishes the actual comics.

Interestingly, I found this http://www.comiclist...4-27-2011-alpha today. Under DC comics for 27th of April, four Mass Effect figures are listed on there. I've always found this site to be accurate when it comes to comics, so perhaps a bit of hope for those looking to get their hands on these?

I mean I can't wait to not do weird and age-inappropriate things with them!

Actually, I think I’ve finally found a way of getting a Custom FemShep figurine! A company called “FiGUREPrints” designs and creates customs figurines base on either Xbox Live or World of Warcraft avatars.

If you have an Xbox Live account, you can create you own FemShep styled avatar and then purchase some Mass Effect clothing or armor from the avatar marketplace. While it will not share the same level of articulation as the in-game Shepard, it is not overly priced considering it is a custom figure.

www.xbox.com/en-US/Live/unleash

In addition, you could order a Shepard Fathead, but I highly doubt that you would want a life size Shepard in your living room!

That seems pretty cool, though not surprisingly not all avatar outfits are licensed for use. I had a look just to check it out and my avatar is wearing the Hawke champion mage armor, but it removed it when I went to design a figure. Shame, I just tried it with my N7 armor as well and same thing. You'd think if you have to buy that stuff in the marketplace it would have at least been licensed.

Unfortunately, I just realized that the N7 armor can't be printed when I went to order a figurine today...:crying:

About two more weeks... any delays? I'm gonna cancel if the date is moved for more than three weeks.

So what's happening with these figures currently? Are the Series 1 figures out yet? I've been seeing Series 2 advertised (Garrus!) so I figured they were...
(Sorry if I'm a bit behind, only just saw these were available!)

And why oh why is there not a Liara figure?! They need to make one of those!!!

Midtown Comics has them listed in their next week's releases list so it's a pretty solid lock. Tali's already listed as Sold Out (as a single) though.

My understanding on Series 2 is that it's cancelled because DC Direct kept screwing up.

Ah, shame the line has been cancelled. Hopefully they'll do some ME3 figures when that releases :)

Hopefully more figures are made with another company but Bioware has already said that they don't intend to partner with DC Direct again.
