yeah I agree if you've waited this long and it really is just a couple more days... that isn't much of a difference. If there is another delay though >.<

I was going to buy from play.com (uk retailer ) but they keep pushing the date back! why is it taking so long?

I'd love to see a model of the Normandy like Shepard has in his cabin.

So the the date is April 27.... is that the day they are sent out or the day they are sent to the sellers?

That would be the day they're on the shelf at your local comic store (assuming they ordered any).

I know its probably because of Easter, but I really hope that once the weekend is over I get the email from the Bioware store saying that my figs are shipping this week..

I preordered the series 2 set and they said that the "release had been revoked", whatever that meant.

Basically, it means that I don't get the series 2 figures.

So, based on that, I kinda assumed the Mass Effect toy line was deader then a Salarian Geneticist shouting "Here I am!" on Tuchanka.

Series 2 has been cancelled but series 1 is going to be released.  The release date is 4/27 at the local comic shops.  I should know tomorrow if they are actually arrive on time at my local store.

as for the Normandy-I like it but, whats with all the darn DEEP black stripes....it looks like it can be taken apart >.>

Good news, my local comic book shop got the Mass Effect series 1 figures in today. I can't buy them until tomorrow when they officially go on sale, but I did go through them to pick out the best paint. My comic shop got 3 sets in; each set of 4 figures are packaged in a case.

These figures are on par with the Dragon Age figures, the likenesses are not perfect and the paint quality varies between figures. The Shepard figure looks decent on the figures with good paint; theflesh colored plasic looks better than the painted prototype.

Excellent! Now hopefully my figures get shipped through the Bioware store sooner rather than later... there aren't really any comic shops where I live so I'm out of luck there. Regardless of paint quality I was planning on doing some touch-ups myself anyway, so can't wait to finally get my hands on them.

I'm sure they'll go pretty quick, especially since DC Direct is essentially discontinuing them... Once the initial batch is shipped out I think that's gonna be it.

I ordered mine through tfaw.com and I just got an email that they will ship soon! Yay!
