I JUST GOT EM - But I have a problem .... how many guns does Thane come with just the pistol or what? PLZ answer so I can go apecrazy if they missed a gun. I ask because Thane is in a pose that says I should have a gun in his hands
It's just the pistol, don't worry, dudebro.
Lol thanks I was just found it strange the way he was posed in the box, so now that theyre here Im super psyched for ME3
Btw did anyone get like a whole bunch of vibes when watching Skyline? It reminded me of Mass Effect sooo much oh and even the way the people got when they looked into the light looked like the ways husks would look like in real life!

Nice pics!Grimlock No Like, I suspect.

Yeah, you're off the hook, I dug your pics.
And Grunt is pretty fantastic. I anticipated liking him the least, but he really surprised me.
It'd really be a shame if DC Direct's ineptitude was the death of plastic Mass Effect, because I really love having toys from my favorite sci-fi universe on my shelf.

Show the true collectors some love, shop out the license.

On another note, anybody else who has the figures, question. Does your Grunt's right wrist move? Mine doesn't. I thought it would since the left one does, but when I tried to move it I saw the plastic starting to rip very slightly. Luckily I stopped as soon as I noticed so no damage done. But I want to know if it actually is supposed to be articulated, or if mine is just stuck. Kinda sucks if it is stuck because if I could move it he'd have more range of motion holding his shotgun.

Step 1) Place figure in freezer (DO NOT WET THE FIGURE)
Step 2) Wait 20-30 minutes for figure to chill
Step 3) Remove from freezer and slowly try to work the stuck joints/swivels.
Step 4) If you fear the joint may break repeat steps 1-3.
The freezing process allows the softer plastics to harden a bit so the parts won't break off at the joint. It also allows tacky/sticky paint that may be causing the joints to stick to harden and stop gumming up the joint.
Hope that helps.

I guess I got lucky with the other three figures because they don't have any stuck joints though.
EDIT: It didn't work, Grunt's right wrist is still stuck

So it's either still in DC and BioWare is making some arrangements with another company to take it over or DC will actually make series 2 (which is very unlikely) OR - we will never see ME action figures

Other than that, they look great and I'm happy I got them. Even though I do wish Thane wasn't staring so intently at his left foot. I have him sitting on a box so that he's slightly higher up. Up on his assassin's perch.

I'm planning on doing some repaints as well and I was planning on using Games Workshop paints for my figures.

They are on the expensive side, but I feel they are the way to go. You could use any kind of acrylic paint, but you're better off getting actual high quality brands as opposed to the crap from Walmart. That stuff sucks. Gloss Varnish will reallly add that extra something for certain areas, such as Tali's mask. Just paint a coat of the varnish on it after you paint it. Games Workshop also has gloss varnish. Depending on the amount of detail, Games Workshop foundation paints would be really good for large areas of solid color. For the more detailed stuff, use the regular paints they have.

Got my Tali today. I like it, but she could've used more details, she won't hold on to her shotgun, and the omni-tool is connected on her left wrist so I can't take of the tool.
A transluscent mask would have been preferable, too.
If you look at the underside of the omni-tool, it looks like there was supposed to be a clasp originally, but instead they molded it together. I simply snipped that small connection on the underside, and she can slip the tool on and off. The functionality as an accessory isn't affected, it wraps around her hand and stays in place. Nice and snug.
Alas, poor HK.

Hoho! Bioware crossover.

Damn none of the usual figure review sites have gottena round to doing a rundown on this line so I have no idea if this is a running problem with many of the figures or just yours. Hmm...R Rarzy wrote...
I just put my Grunt in the freezer, hopefully that will work because I really want his wrist to be able to move. I'll let you know if it works.
I guess I got lucky with the other three figures because they don't have any stuck joints though.
EDIT: It didn't work, Grunt's right wrist is still stuckI didn't wanna wrist forcing it too hard because it is already just slightly ripped... Granted, the "rip" is extremely small and is completely hidden. But either way, the joint is still stuck
Sorry it didn't work. There is also the hair dryer/boil and pop method, I'll find a tutorial on that for ya.
