Those 4 figures look great, especially Grunt. What a shame series 2 won't follow up.

Who knows how long the Mass Effect figures will be readily available, you might want to get those before they go way up in price...

EDIT: I'm excited, today I should be getting my replacement Grunt figure! Whoooo! :D

Definitely cancelled ? Delayed ? Manufacturer Change ?

Last I heard, they were cancelled.

Casey Hudson has a twitter page, I'd try there until we get a concrete answer.

Received my Shepard today - pretty happy, but he has a slight brown line (same colour as his stubble) across one cheek... ah well, that's what the helmet is there for :-)

I recieved my Shepard and Grunt figures today.

Before I had even opened the package, Shepard looked like this.

I opened the package and it appears that the arm was never attached in the first place. The "socket" in Shepard's arm wouldn't fully connect with the "ball" under his shoulder pad. Eventually I was able to move his arm into a position where it would stay attached, however, it is very loose. I was able to place the Assault Rifle in his hand, then rest the arm against his leg (Like so). I should also point out that I am unable to raise Shepard's arm without it falling off. <_<

As for Grunt, his hand popped off when I attampted to place the Claymore in his hand. Luckily, I was able to push it back into place. :)

Despite the damage, I'm still happy with the figures. ^_^

lol, I can imagine your reaction when it turned up! I'd suggest contacting DC or the retailer and see if you can get a replacement.

I'd ordered them through the BioWare Store.

I'm not sure if they would replace the figure, seeing as I've already opened the package.

I actually had a slightly damaged Grunt figure- his wrist was tearing. I sent the Bioware Store a message asking for a replacement. After sending them a picture of the damage, they sent me a new Grunt right away- and it was opened too. Send them that picture you showed us with his arm off still in the packaging and they should help you out :)

Hmm... There is a guy on ebay selling series 2 (Miranda, Garrus, Legion and Mordin) and he says shipping should be in July?

I hope this is not a joke.

It's not a joke, but it might be a scam.  He is the only person selling them on the site.  I don't know if I can link, but it's there.

The problem is that Series 2 is not on DC website anymore ... a release during July seems unlikely. :?

The person selling them is a top rated seller, so it's more likely that they're just unaware that the line was cancelled.

The same guy is selling a pre-order for battlestar galactica wave 4 figures, Diamond Select have deffinatly said that wave is canceled and are not making anymore BSG

im sorry, as much as I want a 2nd wave of Mass Effect figures, this e-bay guy is way out of touch.

you mean the protertype that was on display at toy fairs?

how much would you pay for that?

id probebly pay out $50 for each character, if there was not going to be any more officialy made anyway.

how much would you pay for a one off Miranda, Mordon, Legion or Garrus

you never know, maybe Bioware an DC Direct will kiss and make up.

But If there is nothing at SDCC this year, its a good bet the line is dead.

I don't how much I would pay for a Miranda figure, and I prefer not thinking about it.
