I found this article - it has charts and everything :-) But it goes a LONG ways to demystifying the very complex packages for the CE:

So you do not get warden's keep if you do not get the downloaded version for the pc?

Correct, but you will be able to download it for I believe $7 on both the PC and 360.

You buy it as a DLC. And last I heard is only $7.

Wow! You got to be quick here.

Jeeze, I really hate this thing of bonus items which directly affect gameplay being available as a purchase incentive. The game is either balanced for those who get all the +stats crap at game start, or it's balanced for the base game. It can't be balanced for both.

Assuming that they've done the right thing and balanced it around the base, those who are starting with the extra stuff are starting in EZ mode :P Which could destroy the initial gameplay experience. It's just bad game design. I'm assuming that all the bonus gear will become irrelevant pretty quickly as you level, but the first few levels of play are what draw you in. And the permanent +3 to stats is just inexcusable. People who have that are playing a different game than those who don't... a nerfed game.

Reminds me of all the mods made by noobz that come out immediately after the release of a moddable game, where they give themselves a god mode sword at game start. What serious gamer would want that?

Please, take me back to the happy days of yore when all you got with a CE was gimcracks and gewgaws :( Or, if you want to motivate me with stuffz, give me an increased difficulty challenge, rather than a game nerf.

The +3 stats is less then 1 level and as far as i can tell nothing gives talents so its not that big of a boost.Would they have given free talents yes i would say it would upset the gameplay.
I bet some of these items will be expensive. I think it will give you a extra boost and it will make the game easier but YOU still have the choice to use them or not.*I will since im starting out on easy soloing the game*

If you don't get the map or the case, why not just order it from D2D?:

Have we even seen the actual numbers on most of these items? It's possible they're more of a low-level boost than an uber item you'll be wearing into your 20s.

I like the look of the steam one, quite clearly a rogue ring.

The Wicked Oath

Countess Luciana of Antiva lived as a virtual prisoner in her husband’s castle until an elven slave offered her a way out. The slave magically bound a small amount of the countess’s blood into a ring in return for a promise of freedom. The countess agreed, and the count was found stabbed soon afterwards, this ring lying beside him. Neither Luciana nor the slave were seen again.

Adds +10% to critical strike damage

Improves armor penetration by 2

Adds +1 to combat stamina regeneration

so, my brother and I each have different profiles on the same 360 hard drive. Will we both be able to use the DLC?

I think it's best (for EU) to purchase from D2D the non-DDE version for £29.95 and then buy Warden's Keep for 7$. Well, if you don't care, what in-game items you get at least.
