Just a friendly reminder, TIM knows where Miranda's sister is... That gives him leverage against her.

I think traitors like Yoshimo from BG2 brings a lot of emotions and OMFG feeling....do you think a traitorous crew member would be cool? If yes who?

I think a good traitor would be Miranda...she works for Cerebus and we all know TIM is going to betray us

What do you think?

Only if the traitor is Zaeed and I get to execute him in a spectacular and invasive way.

Liara would make a good traitor, IMO. She seems to be well on her way as it is.

Seriously though if the ending is some kind of "reapers are necessary evil" type thing. It would have to be Mordin that would see it first, and move to stop you from stopping them. It fits his character.

We need more traitors? Really?

Let's list the current people that have double-crossed or lied to Shepard in some form already:

-Saren

-the Council

-Anderson (about Horizon)

-TIM (that collector vessel thing was complete BS on his part, as was dropping hints to the Alliance about Horizon)

-Udina

Can we just focus on the reapers now?

Shepard: "The commanding officer has the deck. XO Pressly stands relieved."

Hah! I like the one liner at the end.

I can't think of anyone besides Kaidan or ashley going traitor on Shep. even then I seriously doubt Kaidan or ashley doing anything majorly betraying.

No traitors please.

I hope it isn't going to be the obvious TIM option. That would be so cliché. I really hope he turns out to be the good willed renegade after all.

I don't want the traitor to be someone who the player has no chance of even figuring out might be a traitor.
Tali as a traitor would be a bad idea because there is absolutely nothing about her that might suggest she is one. We know too much about Tali and we know she couldn't possibly betray Shepard.
Legion on the other hand is still a bit of a mystery, he would make a great traitor in Mass Effect 3. In fact, I'm thinking he may even be Mass Effect 3's main antagonist.

That would be freaking epic....the only problem is that he can die in ME2

Technically he can't die his platform can be destoryed, but he could always get a new one since the geth body's are platform's and they can download themselves into new platform's. All he would have to do is send every part of himself via FTL network, it's possible he could do that even if his platform his destoryed, cause TIM contacts you I assume via the FTL network when inside the Collector base.

If you have Legion on last mission and he dies he is trying to do something like that and he says something like he is not abble to connect with network (don't remember sorry) or something like that

Didn't know that never had him die during any of my suicide run's.

Maybe Miranda's sister will set them up. TIM catches her to set up Shepard/Miranda. TIM tricks the Alliance to go after Shepard. Shepard gets caught by Ashley and turns himself in cause he doesn't want to hurt her. The Alliance trials Shepard for crimes set up by TIM and they find Shepard guilty and gives him a lethal injection. Then with Ashley's (She finds out he was set-up) helps the ME2 crew recovers Shepard's body and Miranda brings him back as she did in ME2 (back to level 1, lol). That's just the start of ME3. then Shepard has to fight the Alliance to prove he is innocent, TIM (who I think is a Prothean which is why he wanted the reaper base) cause TIM wants revenge, and the Reapers while trying to get the Galaxy to see that the Reapers are the real threat. Shepard then unites all then there is a big space battle against the Reapers going on outside while Shepard and his crew go to the Mother ship to in the final battle to blow it up. That's the main story line, in between you have side quest like Shepard saving Miranda's sister from TIM and her father, Thane and his son helping thane with his disease. Jack running away and getting hooked up with a bad merc gang and she needing Shepard's help to escape (possible TIM paid merc gang to trick Jack to get to Shepard. Just some idea's off the top of my head. I can see this being like 5 - 6 disc for the xbox 360...lol

No.

Big ****-off reaper invasion, what do they have to gain by interfering with the one person capable of doing something about it?

Unless they're working for the reapers, at which point they wouldn't bide their time. They could easily just walk up to Shepard and shoot him in the face while he runs around unarmored and unarmed in the ship.

I don't necessarily think there's a traitor, but if there is my guess would be Miranda. We never did learn for sure why Wilson did what he supposedly did at the beginning of the game OR if Miranda was even telling the truth. For all we know, Miranda could have been the one who set the mechs loose, not Wilson. (Though I doubt it)

However, one thing I don't want in ME3 is Ashley or Kaidan as a team member again, after the way they act on Horizon. Sorry, but after what they went through in ME I can't see how they'd be stupid enough to side with the Alliance and not give Shepard the benefit of the doubt, even after 2 years.

(My ideal scenario? Ash/Kaidan pops up in ME3 and acts friendly toward Shepard....*Renegade Option flashes, resulting in a pimp slap if taken*)

1. Jack.

2. Miranda.

3. Grunt on accident.

Traitor in ME3? Anderson because he's the only one firmly in your camp in ME1 and 2. That would be the ultimate slap in the face for Shepard IMHO.

I think Samara would be great traitor. What are the chances that Shepard haven't at some point done something that breaks some obscure Asari teaching that forces her to kill Shepard. And ofc she can be replaced by Morinth who is up for anything...

It's not a betrayal. Once her oath is fulfilled she is no longer 'under his service'. And she states, if you're renegade, that she may be forced to kill you once she's free.

Exept Saren, non of them are traitors. The Council doesn't believe you, that isn't betraing. Some people, like Anderson, have a job where there are thing you cant tell. And why would he tell you? Mayby did TIM "brainwash". That possible. TIM is just a jerk. In the begin he also says you are humanitis last hope. Udina stapped you in the back, yes. But he didn't betrayd you. That are different thing. He used you.

Miranda or jack if they live. Also I think liara mostly because of her shadow broker obsession. I hope you have enough paragon, renegade points!

Sigh how the hell can you have a traitor when they can't be indoctrinated since the nearest Reaper is lightyears away? Seriously ME doesn't need a traitor to the Reapers and it would be a dumb move considering Shep is the best hope against them and they want everyone dead.
