what if joker become a traitor? he was already with cerberus and ironically had a sr 2 replica before shephard was repaired from the normandy sr 1 attacks (plus he was willing to stay in the cockpit during the attacks, and managed to leave while the precise attacks suddenly resumed again completely destroying the sr 1 along with shephard)...

I think traitors like Yoshimo from BG2 brings a lot of emotions and OMFG feeling....do you think a traitorous crew member would be cool? If yes who?

I think a good traitor would be Miranda...she works for Cerebus and we all know TIM is going to betray us

What do you think?

I don't like to see one of the oldest and one of the common recipe of gaming storylines in ME3 too.

On that regard I dont agree... Is Oriana the one we saw looking at Miri??? because if she was... then she wasn't a twin.... theya re suppose to be twins... meaning same bodies, same face... same eyes. Never saw a "twin"

I need a picture of Miri, and Oriana, to compare.

Unless the one that was "looking" at Miri was the adoptive mother of Oriana, and the one with the back towards Miri was Leliana.... in which case then yeah... we still haven't seen her face, so she might still be hot.

Garrus: Can it wait a minute Shepard, I'm in the middle of planning how to stab you in the back when you least expect it.

Shepard: Wha?

Garrus: Oh damn."

how?

Because she went through hell to get your body back and then gave it to TIM so he could revive you, it's only rational... oh wait.....

While I have seen games that have done the betrayl plot line VERY well (Tales of Symphonia comes to mind), I must agree, ME3 has no need of it. Shepard probably will have enough to deal with as it is.

I think it would be quite a twist if Tali ended up not only betraying Shepard but actually turned out to be, this entire time, a psychopath and that the sweet demeanor she carried around with her was actually just an elaborate hoax.

I don't know what her motivations would be, but maybe if you romanced her and in doing so cheated on someone else she loses all confidence she ever had in you and tries to kill you.

Still, that's unlikely. In truth I think it's more likely to just be Udina again and that Anderson would have to help Shepard form a resistance UNDER the Council's powers in order to assemble an army to save the galaxy from the Reapers.

That way we can see Ashley/Kaidan return to the fray as allies too as they are far more likely to assist Anderson then they would Udina.

By the way, as for Ashley/Kaidan on Horizon ending up as traitors... NO.

First of all, they had a right to be angry and confused by Shepard working for Cerberus and second of all if you romanced them later on they message you and apologize for what they said and wish you luck and that they understand why you have to do what you are doing. That really doesn't strike me as the mark for a potential betrayal.

More likely I can see their loyalty for the Alliance setting them up to become Shepard's antagonist but they grow to trust him/her again and after doubting their loyalties finally reunite and fight alongside him/her.

But still to be honest, I'd rather not see any betrayals, or factions, or conflicting motivations, or shady terrorist and business deals or bladerunner-esque crime ridden futuristic cities or anything of that nature. We should be PAST all that now and instead be pushing forward into the one final epic battle where everyone is brought together and relationships are restored and motivations are all made clear:

Let's Stop the Reapers.

I guess what I'm saying is, I'd rather see the plot stay focused on something rather than just get scrambled all over the place.

Actually, I now think Ash/Kaiden is the traitor. This has probably been mentioned in the thread a hundred times but Ash/Kaiden escaping abduction on Horizon was pretty odd. And then their behaviour with Shepard was also odd. Their indoctrination and plant as a spy would make good sense.

Sure, I agree with V-Rex that you could explain their behaviour another way but not them escaping the Collectors, unless it was a plot hole.

Do you really need the answer? Because if so, DA spoilers are coming up....

Yea but Udina's betrayal  wasn't a huge thing he just said "Ok, be a good little boy and go in your room while the grown-ups talk"

As for Zaeed being "to smart" to go after Shepherd he's the one that decided to go on a suicide mission for the pay. So how smart can he be, if someone offers him enough he'll take it.

I still think that the best beat would be Miranda because even though she told TIM to F*** off he still can go after her sister and Miranda will do anything for her sister. Or Legion because he could be a Heretic Geth.

Ashley or Kaiden may be told to go after Shepherd but I can't see them actually trying to kill him they know what he's up to and how important it is. I also don't believe Anderson or Udina will give the order to go after Shepherd so it would have to be the council that you saved at the end of Mass Effect which if they didn't send anyone after you in ME2 why will they in ME3?

since ME is all about the different alien races id really like to see the traiter HAS to be human. a traiter with any other race just wouldnt be as memorable. grunt turning on you in ME3 wouldnt be as memorable as say captain anderson being the traitor.
