I recall reading about dragons in DA being about as smart as a dolphin but I cant seem to recall where so take that as a grain of salt

I would take a stab in general people hav an innate dislike for authoritative figures/ know it all characters, especially when they talk to you sometimes in a condescending fashion even though it is not intended and filled with good intentions.

*sigh* WHY do people guess when there's so much said in the game?  Wynne wants to redeem him.  He turns the tables on her in very funny ways.  Her disapproval comes from the fact that she thinks that the Warden should not be in a purely physical relationship (but by that point, it isn't casual anymore) and that the Grey Warden is behaving in a way that is not fitting.  She thinks that the Grey Warden will toss everything aside to have sex with the evil elf.

Edit: And yes, Wynne disapproves of all relationships.  She's just particularly nasty and insulting when it comes to the disapproval of Zevran.

People are as annoying as you allow them to be.
I am pretty sure one could shut her up the moment she starts interfering in one's private life.
 
But can someone remind me what she said exactly? Can't remember, I only spared her one and with a goodie two shoes character, who was too nice with her.

Does she say anything useful?
Or just "I am older than you, that means you should do what I tell you to"?

WHen thinking of Wynne, I am reminded about Deckter from Star Trek: The Motion Picture.



He and Kirk were involved in an arguement, and he states quite bluntly: "Captain, as your Exec, it's my DUTY to point out alternatives."



Wynnes comment about the drop of water in a still pond is apt. A better way of putting it would have been a pebble in a still pond, but still.... And at many times in the game, the PC isn't dropping mere pebbles. (S)He is catapult-launching half-ton boulders.
