So I was watching the Documentary for Me2 that was with my Digital Edition, I got to the part about weapon and someone was talking about the look for the new weapon in Me2, this is where a weapon that I have not seen in the game popped up, now with the news of a new DLC weapon I’m wondering if this is going to be it.

That looks alot like the BlackStorm - so I dont think thats it

Doesn't look like blackstorm at all. Not the same shape or colour. Looks more like the grenadelauncher IMO, but without the drum clip.

not sure it looks slightly different than the Blackstorm, but only time will tell

Have you guys ever heard of concept art? Not everything drawn in development makes the final cut. My guess is that that is a concept drawing for an Assault Rifle, maybe even the Revenant, that didn't make the cut. Note the over & under barrels & scope, all typical of AR's in the ME universe.

You may be right, but right after this weapon was on the screen the Incisor was up on it and as we know this is also a DLC weapon some people may put two 'n' two together and say this may be a DLC item. Or it may just be a concept art item

It doesn't look like the final design of the Blackstorm, but it does however, have features that were implemented into the Blackstorm design, either it is Blackstorm gun concept art, or indeed, the new heavy weapon

I wonder what the new heavy weapon will be like..We've already got most of the different applications covered

I think it may be some type of direct energy beam like the Halo 3 Spartan Laser or be some type of electric/chain lighting weapon that will jump to targets.

To me it looks like a rifle, with an optical sight similar to that of the avenger, and the two 'barrels' the one where you would normally expect it on a gun, and a second one below it (again, like the avenger) - having said that it does look like a grenade launcher also.
