 I'm playing my xbox and I can't connect to the cerberus network today or yesterday. It was fine before yesterday. Any idea what is going on?

I had the same problem earlier this week. You can read about it here:

Some times says "Cannot connect to Cerberus network" for me as well, I then often restart my Xbox and it works. Try that, if not go with Aetas' link.
