Actually photo shoped, but it's about what they should look like

To the OP:
I have noticed that their facial expressions when choosing a voice distorts the mouth and part of face. It seems like the characters lips grow, but I haven't noticed dark or brown teeth.

While I accept that it could have to do with the lighting (in which case, I still have to wonder why BW would make the character creator environment so horrible for creating characters) but I don't see how you could think they don't look abnormally brown. Again, could be a result of the lighting and shadows, but can we at least agree that under decent lighting conditions, teeth of this coloration would be considered quite unattractive?RV0LVr wrote...
I have to agree with Lucy, they look fine to me and if they look 'rotten' to you it's probably because of the lighting in CC
Remember Oblivion? You created your character in a damp, dark cell. When you got out and looked at your char (after about 15m of gameplay) you cried in horror. Here would be the same issiue. Compare your character in the CC and your portrait...even here you see a difference because the latter is in normal lighting. Nothing to worry about I hope.Twitchmonkey wrote...

But why would people voice their concern over teeth of all things is far beyond me. I will justand adore my fangs in silence.

According to my game, if anything, humans are worse:sin_bad wrote...
Yesterday I thought the teeth looked awful, but today it looked normal. I checked again and I noticed, that only elves haven't got white teeth.

I do remember Oblivion, I remember how impossible it was to get your character looking right due to the poor lighting and it sucked and it still does. Why they didn't learn from Oblivion's mistakes I don't know but I think they made them even worse. I'm also not convinced it's necessarily a problem with the lighting. Take a look at her portrait (and sorry for the expression, it was the only one that showed the teeth:
Clearly more evenly and well-lit, but the teeth do not benefit greatly in color or tone due to this extra light. It's kind of hard to make a cute character when their teeth are so terrible.

White teeth are nice, and I know this is not based on any real medieval earth background, but rotting teeth was pretty much a given in the old days. Not that I like looking at them mind you
