(This was the mini-mini-quest with the Quarian, Volus, and C-Sec Officer about the stolen chit.)

It was a bummer that Shepard couldn't do anything for Lia'Vael on the Citadel. She was left alone to fend for herself.

Even if it was just a small addition that was snuck in some other DLC, it would be cool to be able to help her out somehow.

I too wanted to do more for her. She sleeps at a turian poor house and eats the free paste handout there to get by. That just pulls on the heart strings. Although I doubt they'd make a DLC based around her, it would be nice if in a future DLC she would be added in with more chances to help her out. Maybe like, get her a job so she can afford some actual food.

Quarians are the most helpless and useless race in the galaxy.  No offense but totally not worth it as DLC.

I did find some Fighters that i could give to her, or she could sell them to get a used frieghter or frigate if she was lucky.

I feel even worse for that Quarian slave on Ilium.

I mean there should've been the option to buy her outright.....

....

....Oh, and free her right after of course....

You can free her. Just talk the company representative into paying her contract in full, and she'll release her right away, to become an ordinary employee of the firm. But she ended up badly because of making a lot of stupid choices, and she recognised that nothing but her own stupidity had gotten her to that point. In contrast, Lia'Vael has done everything right, yet the world is still taking a big dump on her. It would have been nice to help her find a job; maybe we'll run to her in ME3, in any case.

What happens if you do either of these quests with Tali?

I don't know about the slave, but on Lia'Vael's Tali gets angry with the C-Sec officer and volus.

Thanks.  I always do that quest at the beginning and didn't even think about that possibility until the other day

She definitely deserves another cameo at least; that was totally a "wow, really?!" moment (for me at least) when you go through the whole harassment bit, she gives you a sob story and then DONE, can't interact with her at all. Meanwhile you were easily able to bail Kern out of a similar dilemma on Omega.

Tali gets a few lines of dialog in response to the others.

As for the one on Ilium, She just has one line after Shepard's paragon/renegade dialog.

ugh this is pathetic...SHAPE UP MAN..SHEPARD IS THE MOST IMPORTANT MAN IN THE GALAXY... she should be in awe of your willingness to even waste breathe on her.

Keep in mind the Normandy isn't a homeless shelter, essentially that would be like recruiting hobos due to pity, despite that they actually have no way to contribute the team, which is supposed to consist of elite specialists.

No. No more Quarian rescuing. The only way I could support the DLC if there was a renegade option to swindle her and sell her on Ilium.

I thought this was going to develop into an assignment. THe proximity of her, Sheperd's reactions and the "used space ship" dealer, just reeked of an excluded Citadel assignment.

Haha yeah. Recruiting her is a bit much; but helping her find a job or offering help in some other way it right along the lines of what I would have expected the Paragon Shep to be able to do (Like he does with everyone else).

Maybe even be able to talk to Bailey about the C-Sec d-bag; not standing in front of her with countless credits in your pocket and unmatched fame/pull feeling like an ass.

Should've had a "Hey, want a temp job doing some maintenance on my ship while I'm docked here?" dialog option. Maybe you get a small cut scene of her saying goodbye whenever you leave the Citadel.

It's official though: I'm taking Tali along for my next playthrough for that assignment. I wish she had jacked the volus' suit though, he deserved it.

This might be a little dated threat. But that what I found on google searching for that Quarians name. Just like many other people, I was expecting something more there. Used ship dealer, poor quarian girl....

I am dont feel disappointed, I feel hollow and sad after that quest...
