im starting an entirely new game, and I was wondering what would be a good team for hardcore. My character is a soldier who i am going to try to max out the damage with.
So i'm thinking
Shepard
Wrex
Tali/Garrus?
Would that be a good combo. I was thinking that Wrex can soak up the damage while I deal it and Tali can handle the rest.
Good Hardcore team?

I'd just take Liara and Tali for a well balanced team.

Whenever I play with Liara she is always extremely useless...maybe it's because I have it so my team mates decide when to use their powers, but she is pretty bad IMO.jynthor wrote...

She's not the best, but I find her biotic abilities extremely useful for some scenarios.
Warp against Immunity
Throw and Lift against charging enemies.
and singularity for those enemies clustered together...
etc

Yeah I might try her than. If you used her biotic skills at the right time she could be incredibly useful especailly when the enemies are a lot tougher.

You got something against biotics? Biotics are critical for dealing with krogan... but since you're playing hardcore, it probably won't be all that tough anyway. If the warlord on Therum gives you trouble, you're going to need a biotic.

The reason I dont want a biotic is because I love wrex and i hate kaidan...and liara can't decrypt things so I wouldn't have anyone to do my electric stuff. I just fought the krogan, and it was pretty easy with tali. I used her move that takes down shields and biotics and wrex rapestomped him without my help lol.
