According to what they currently released in regards to Oghren it would appear it has been probably a year or so later. That being the case will we be able to change the appearance of our warden that we are importing?

Maybe their hair got longer or shorter, grew a beard, got a new tattoo, changed make up...etc ect

Anyone know if you will be able to edit the appearance of your warden come the expansion?

Also Bioware please add some scars to the game.  I have killed thousands of Darkspawn and non of them have left a mark on my pretty face.

I think just some months passed form Origin, but I guess Bioware could allow us to change the hair or soething like that. But I'm guessign he didn't changed too much.

There will be an option to re-spec their stats, but not their appearance as far as I know. Your appearance isn't that important in terms of the game anyway. All characters seem to make the assumption that you are young and beautiful no matter what. I'm sure you could find a mod to change your character and add scars if you really wanted to.

I actually think the ability to change character appearence is a huge deal, and Bioware should really start adding it to their games, especially since in every single one of their games, the Character Creator and the actual game have vastly different lighting, as well as the fact you can't see various things like blush until you actually get in the game, and many of the beards/hairstyles/faces clip with the Massive Armors.

One of my friends had to restart so many times trying to get his character to even look normal that he just quit, and returned the game, he didn't care anymore, all because he couldn't change what his character looked like, and because of that, he won't be buying Awakening, because he never even got past the first ally quest in Origins, and if my friend, who normally doesn't care about stuff like that has that ckind of a problem, then well, that means they've basically shut off the OCD Community, as well as all the other people who may have problems

If my aged female mage got older, she'd collapse and die.

I agree that we should have some option to at least change the hair or makeup. My character's hair must have grown a little in the few months that have passed and I think a person betrothed to the kind would have prettier hair than my HN.

Given that the PC had an entire ear where their appearence never changed, I doubt you'd going to see much in six months.

Would be cool if they gave us glowy eyes though.

Ever used the Vibrant Colors mod?  Makes the game 3 times more interesting.  But you're right, they need to make glowing eyes a vanilla effect.

Oghren settled down with his old flame Felsi and had a child. Those who know him say that he was truly happy, at least for a time. But Oghren is a warrior born and bred, and, as he is fond of saying, you can take a warrior out of the fight, but you can never take the fight out of the warrior.

So he settle down with Fetsi ... Had a children ... and the events of Awakening only happens 6 month later?
It's either a plot hole or i'm missing something!

Because story wise that make no sense.Even if Dwarf have a gestation of 3 month.Or Maybe He left while Felsi was pregnant.I need answer.

Or maybe he did the Bronto dance with Felsi when you do his personnal quest. That would make more sense.

Maybe since your the hero of Fereldan you need to keep looking the same. I bet one of the first things Alistair or Anora or whoever is ruler will say " You haven't changed a bit have you?".

What you're missing is the fact that nobody on Bioware has said anything about six months. That's something invented and passed as fact.

Actually I believe one of the Devs stated that Awakening was six months after Origins. I'll try to update with a link.

I can't find the link, but I know it has been specifically stated in early DA:A previews that the events take place "months" after the DA:O.

As for Oghren settling down and having a child, without having played the game I am left to assume that DA:A has been placed in between DA:O and Oghren's settling down.

I could be wrong, however, as I haven't seen enough time line info to do anything beyond blindly speculate. Also, if I am right please do not kill Oghren! You will be left with a real plot hole if you do.

Exactly. Months. Not six months. It could be 9 months, or 12, or 14, ...

A long time ago it was said DAA was a few months after origins, lately its been said several months.

There hasn't been any news that I have seen that any hair/makeup/tatoos/scars or anything has been added. But I could have missed it.

Using modded hair for one of my characters i'm still waiting to see if it'll actually work with awakening, I'm hoping they'll be some option to change it if it's going to be a problem, it would be nice to start awakening with a nice new haircut anyhow.

It's not six months. That was just a rumor. Oghren has a baby, so its much safer to assume a year than 6 months.

Awakening takes place several months after Origins. Exactly how many we haven't said. And in that time, your character wouldn't have visibly aged. Just like I won't visibly age in several months. Well, I hope I won't have. :)

Then how did Oghren have his child by that time?
