Your Warden has aged in DAO:A but not your appearance?

Maybe the "spirit warrior" spec will do that.

Yeah but in a couple of months I could get a haircut , grow a beard, change makeup, get a tattoo... just because my body shape might not change, or that I may not get wrinkles in a few months does not mean all those other things would not change in even less then a months time.

I WANT ELF BEARDS!
Doubtful at best as Bioware have followed Tolkiens fantasy, dwarves stout, drinking battle axe wielding braided beared warrirors who live in the mountains mine riches and have an aztec sorta feel
Elves are fair faced, immortal (although they only live long atm in dragon age not immortal), use bow and arrow, wear leather of some sort had an ancient city but destroyed by humans and they once wore chainmail of some sort, (much like the high elves and what sauron done to them and their style of armor)
and humans are douche bags lol
so doublt we will see any elf beards or sober dwarves

Actually DA subverts both of those a good bit. 1) Dwarven ale is wretched compared to human ale. 2) Not all dwarves are drunks--in fact one Dwarven warrior NPC takes you to task for relying on a drunk in battle. 3) the so-called "aztec feel" in itself is a subversion. Tolkien's Dwarves had a very north-german feel. 4) the caste system.
Regarding elves: They're actually not that much longer lived than humans anymore in DA. The Dalish may be longer lived, but the only one we see who actually possesses said lengthened lifespan did so by means of magic, not by his nature as an elf. Soris anticipates that he will be married to his wife for "fifty years." That's about what a human would expect for a life-long bond. Tolkien's elven city was not destroyed by elves. It was destroyed by Morgoth. And chainmail was the elite armor in Tolkien's setting. No one wore plate until Peter Jackson showed up to forge it for them.
And there's good and bad in every race in DA...unlike Tolkien...who didn't introduce elves you could hate until "The Silmarillion" well...and a certain elven king in "The Hobbit" too. And you never see a dwarf who isn't "loyal" in Tolkien, unless a Silmaril is around. In DA, I can name characters that the majority of players want to gut in every race just as bad as they want to kill the Archdemon (some almost certainly more so).

They aren't manly enough to even begin contemplating how to grow one.

Still elves may be fair faced but a good soul patch sounds more fair to me.
HOORAY soul patches!
And actually, there can be dark-skinned elves too already. So another subversion.

way i figure it they would screw up MY continuity between dao and me2.
when i was hyped about me2 i replayed me1 with a variation of one of my dao characters, unfortunately me2 proved to be a dissapointment compared to its hype (its still a solid game, but its no dao).
somehow my char has mastered the taint (with the dude in warden's tower) and the taint stopps her cells and immune system from breaking down over time- thus stopping the aging process. so a future identity is commander shepard-
hey i needed an excuse to replay me1 and it kind of grew on me.

Given that the PC had an entire ear where their appearence never changed, I doubt you'd going to see much in six months.

Vanilla meaning that's the way it always is? I wouldn't want to see that. it would make the love scenes weird as heck. Besides, it would make them look just like the PCs in Divinity 2.

on a more practical note, that would be more work for the programmers designers to do, which may mean a longer delay time=]

Elves too wimpy? Elves are wimpy for travelling through dangerous forests and dealing with poverty cause they have no weapons or armour and would just die?

Just looking at them makes me think they like skipping through forests whilst singing silly songs at the top of their high pitched voices.

Who said (if the child has been born) it was conceived in the time he knew you? We already know he had given up on fidelity to his marriage before he met the Warden.

Well, it would have to be at least 9+ months since the end of the Origins, otherwise I'm going to have to have a serious talk with Oghren.
