Your Warden has aged in DAO:A but not your appearance?

Awakening takes place several months after Origins. Exactly how many we haven't said. And in that time, your character wouldn't have visibly aged. Just like I won't visibly age in several months. Well, I hope I won't have.
Well, it would have to be at least 9+ months since the end of the Origins, otherwise I'm going to have to have a serious talk with Oghren.
Why, he was drunk most of two years? He might not even remember the event and might not have been told about it until since you parted ways. I think it could fit into that timeperiod pretty easy.

How the heck can oghren have had a child then?
Who said (if the child has been born) it was conceived in the time he knew you? We already know he had given up on fidelity to his marriage before he met the Warden.
He named the child after the warden. If the child was born before you met him that introduces a timeline issue. In addition, when you meet him in the game it's pretty clear that he's in something of a rut and hasn't had a woman for awhile. He needs the warden's aid in getting his mojo back with Felsi.
Now given that Oghren has had time to have a child, I hope it's safe to assume that a human noble Warden will have had time to marry Alistair/Anora (if the player went that route). If not, I'm going to have a big-time continuity issue with this expansion. Being able to change the warden's appearance on the other hand isn't a concern of mine.

You have no concern about appearances yet you read a post that has a title that suggests the topic is about appearances? Most screwed up logic ever.
( soul patches for elves )
Allow me to rephrase that. I would be interested in adjusting the appearance if -more- appearance options were added. But I have little interest in changing the appearance of my characters if no new appearance options are added. Story continuity issues trump make-overs in my mind however.

It ran away to the Penny Arcade guy.
I don't want new appearance options, or to be able to change them. I have mods for that, and new options in the game itself would screw up my mods. Which I'm hoping doesn't happen when I get Awakening.
There are facial scar mods out there by the way.

He's not actually Orlesian. He's Fereldan. And connected to Howe somehow.

I have nothing against beards. In fact I have one right now. Nevertheless in pretty much every fantasy novel I've read and every game I've played elves have never had facial hair. So if I want to play a character with a beard I play a human or dwarf instead. Correct me if I'm misunderstanding you, but I don't see the point of giving elves beards when it would strip away one of the things that makes them unique. No doubt someone would then lobby to make elves just as tall or even taller than humans (Tolkien's elves were taller for example), and then the only physical difference between Elves and Humans would be funky ears. And even that might not last if some elven players felt their ears were too large and pushed for smaller ones...
Now one appearance mod I'd be very interested in is one to change your character's build. Unfortunately all humans have the same male or female build, and the same goes for elves and dwarves. And to make matters worse, the clothes determine the build. So if a female character changes outfits her chest & hips can suddenly get smaller or larger. It's weird and I find it disconcerting. I'd love to be able to adjust a character's build and have that build stick regardless of the outfit you're wearing. Unfortunately given the current design of the game, that sort of overhaul would no doubt be too big for an expansion the size of Awakening.

The Dalish encounter with the priestess at Ostagar is funny. She tells you to take your hatred away from her if you so much as comment on what they did to the Dalish.
I wish you could have a specific body type for characters too. I imagine them all having slightly different bodies.
And in most fantasy settings, the only hair elves have are on their heads. They don't grow hair anywhere else. And yes, I do mean anywhere.

Actually, the Exalted March was declared against the Dales. The Tevinter Imperium destroyed Arlathan and enslaved the elves.

Technically yes. I was stating off the top of my head though, and I got it wrong.

All depends what life-changing circumstances you experience in those "several months"..for instance I lost two family members in the space of about 6 months...so things like that cause stress, stress causes other things..yada yada.
It IS probable that..given whatever circumstances, ...the companions aged a bit. Marriage, funerals, job gain/job loss ...etc all cause their own kind of stress, all depends on how you handle it.
