Hmm, glad I decided to just wait til the 11th and get the patch at the same time as the DLC.

When you start Dragon Age on the PS3, it should tell you there is an update.  Once you have installed the update/patchy thingy, the menu on the Dragon Age game then shows that there is new downloadable content.  Here is an image from another user:

I am in the uk, and have managed to download it ok.  I hope you get it working soon, all of you.  

I'm in Ireland and I got mine alright. However in my case I got no notification that there is new content available. I got the patch but I actually had to go to PS Store to find the gifts- content from addons, my game side did not tell me about it's existence.

I can't believe I forgot to say: Thank you Bioware. Much appreciated.

Didn't have any problems with the patch. I also didn't noticed much (if any) slowdown when palying yesterday.
I'm really interested in the gifts though. Seem quite interesting.
Wonder why we didn't get them in NA.

Yep, Thanks Bioware! Seriously over a month delay for this? Here you had a chance to redeem the launch failure with all the bugs but instead you just give us a patch to ready it for awakenings and or RTO. Heh once again you Fail PS3 owners. Grats, this will be my first PS3 game to turn in to gamestop for store credit. I'm done with it. Such a "could be" great game, what a shame. Maybe later down the line I'll get it on PC now that I have one that can run it. but right now I just don't know... Your outright favoritism and treating PS3 owners like the bad stepchild (even though we paid the same amount of money) has really sickened me.

i just installed the patch and resumed my game (3rd playthrough, ostagar - so right at the beginning of the game).  frame rate seems to be worse than pre-patch DA.  shameful, really.  

i could try re-installing my game data but i doubt that will fix anything.  patch fail is fail.

There is nothing listed. Wtf?! Nothing ingame nor in the PS Store. Are these gifts for all of Europe or only UK & Ireland?

That has been one of my biggest gripes... but I swear you are the only other person I have seen post about it.
So happy to find out I'm not alone on that one.
Why couldn't we scroll down the list with the right stick without moving the 'cursor'?  Say have the left stick control the cursor, and the right one control the list scroll.  Would that be so hard to put in?
This little thing makes the codex all but unusable for me... which is a shame because there was obviously a lot of time/effort/content put into it.

You two are not alone. There are several people with the same issue/irritation.

thing is, now i have patched the game on my ps3, when playing with a non-rogue character and clicking on a padlocked item causes the xp points you would have been given had you unlocked to be displayed twice, stays on the screen and then disappears, hmm, something not quite right me thinks.



good that rto finally has a release date tho, might just whet my appetite to continue my 3rd playthrough

I got the gifts, but i got them from the store, don't know if they showed up in the dlc section of the game :OS

Were?! For how long? I haven't seen anything and I live in Europe. I have been at the store AND checked the DLC section ingame. Nothing. What's the point of giving something extra when so few are able to make use of it.

is the patch only for Europe only. Every time I load up DAO nothing about a patch comes up, nor do i see a 'System Update 1.01'.

I entered the two codes that came with the PS3 version, I cannot download them!!! I go to the DOWNLOADABLE CONTENT, there is NO OTHER TAB to see what I have unlocked from entering these codes!!!! It does say that I have redeemed them on the webpage here but does not say that I can download them or does not give me anyother info, Just shows that I have enterd a code for the Fury of shale and the Blood Dragon Armor.... Help>>???

will/is there a patch to fix the dlc list on DAO because i can't download any dlc after using a redeem code to get it so is that a bug or something???

that will change quickly... i wouldn't be surprised if the 360 gets a patch much sooner than the ps3. Remember that the 360 already had 2 patches before the ps3 got its 1st patch (which ended up being the 3rd patch for the 360).
