in a way it's kinda like being a tattle tale, nobody likes a tattle tale, end of story.

But Shep tattled on the Reapers.

mmm, well there's the diff between tattling your friends to be a douche, and tattling on douches for not being your friend.

Sovereign just wanted to give us cake!
That's why he was opening the Citadel relay, to have tons of delicious and moist cake delivered!

I thought they were gray smoothies, heard it took thousands of people to make something so good!

Is it ever said what's done with the evidence if you don't show it?
I hope we get to blackmail the Quarians with it in ME3.. kekekeke.

Yeah, Zen finds enough evidence to clue her in and continue his work with an army of Geth.

Guess what? If you don't give them the evidence, you get a nice letter from one of the admirals about how they found the evidence. It says that, if you had shown the evidence, humans could have benefited, but since you didn't you will be destroyed alongside the geth! (Yeah, right.)

I never gave them the evidence (enough paragon/renegade or just let Tali get exiled) but I wonder if that will affect ME3...

Haha, I like Tali, I'm not Taliban, but she is one of my favorite characters. That vid was still awesome! I would never be able to bring myself to do that. :D

I wouldn't really see it as a betrayal. If Rael wanted to be an idiot then on his head be it.
Tali would rather fall on her sword than tell the truth about her dead dad? Whatever.

Only reason I don't show the evidence is because I don't want the Quarians getting their hands on the anti-Geth technology from it.

Nothing stops them. You can't blow Alarei up. Admiral Xen later sends a message telling how happy she was to obtain the research data. Safest way to prevent war - present evidence at the trial and support the Quib-Quib guy (both advise Admirals at the trial and after it is concluded not to go to war).

Xen finds some leads, but not the evidence that would incriminate Rael.

Nor would she feel the need to publicise it considering she's a power hungry megalomaniac who wants it for herself.

Presumably Tali would've cleared the computer's drives... unless she's a complete idiot.
Xen can find some of it because... uhm.. because of SCIENCE! Duh.

Yeah, I wanted to send a letter back "Know what I did to the last guy with an army of Geth?"

Yes I believe the actual incriminating evidence was most likely destroyed when Tali took it from the console at the Geth Hub (or Geth Hub controls, didn't see a Geth Hub there, think it was located somewhere else).

There would still be some incriminating evidence, but not enough for the a posthumous trial to be done in an efficient manner.

Hell yes, I did!  I don't get you people that never do anything ''bad'' in any of your play throughs...

She is not interested in incriminating him anyway IMO.  She has her agenda along with the other Admirals and their agendas shrouded in politics hidden from the Quarian masses.

There is evidence exonerating Tali and there is the research data. They are separate things!

You can't conseal the data. You only can conseal or present the evidence. Presenting the evidence makes data harder to use, because of the publicity and political repercussions. After you present the evidence, Xen is furious and Han'Gerrel thinks the war effort is sabotaged.

Well then, what did you do?  Is her loyalty worth it?  Or is the bigger issue more important?

Wow I would have never seen this if not for this thread. I love Tali too much to do that to her and her people. It is a bad idea for them to fight in this manner and to lose her loyalty like that is bad news. She had a point when you needed her to follow your lead she was there and as far as her family business and people went you should follow hers.

Bigger issue is always more important. Besides, look at my portrait and guess what I did.

Yeah, but at what expense to the Quarian political landscape?  How does this effect their war with the Geth?  How does this effect their capacity to fight against the Reapers?

Was it because you believed it was the right thing to do?  Or just for the hell of it and be a renegade?

Yes, but it would have to be for a better reason then that. I personally don't care one way or another about the qurian people. Just like I don't care about the Turians, Krogans, or the Asari. I care about my squad and there the ones I'm trying to help. Helping her involved not presenting the evidence. If said evidence would stop a plague from wiping out the Quarians, then that would be the end of the Quarians.

The decision has the potential to have a big impact on ME3.  But I think that may be asking too much.

I know what you did. My question is what was your logic behind the decision. You don't get that from a portrait.

So.... Would betraying Tali screw up the romance? :)
