Does the infinite paragon/renegade glitch not work on the 2-disc Mass Effect Platinum Hits edition? I can't seem to activate the glitch. After choosing the renegade option and then speaking to Lorik about Benezia, I don't get the another topic option. Did I do something wrong?

It was probably patched up and the Platinum Hits edition contained said patch. Wouldn't know for sure though, got the PC version.

It does actually still work, i just recently did it on my Platinum hits edition. After choosing the paragon/renegade dialogue choice, ask him about Matriarch Benezia. This brings up further topics about Benezia, hit the return choice to go back to his main dialogue options, and you should be able to start the paragon/renegade choice again.
