I would really like that to happen though. It would be nice to see that female PCs aren't failed baby makers, when the male PCs are apparently very fertile. Considering some of them already have children.

That would make for an unbelievable story continuation, wouldn't it? Why did the writers make Alistair so irresistible?

I'm just going to chalk it up to there being no one around that my HNM is romantically interested in. Either that or he's completely devoted to Leliana. Probably a combination of both. My HNF is married to Alistair and she loves him to death. My dalish male elf ran off with Zevran after Origins and if he returns it'll only be temporarily so he's interested in no other. My female elf mage was dumped by Alistair after making him king and does not have it in her to strike up any more flames with comrades - she'll be all about fulfilling her duty.

So there's no romance. Come up with a reason and enjoy the game

You have an excellent point there, probably the most reasonable and genious solution I've read so far in these threads. But then this problem remains; Morrigan ran off on me, considering I love her to death and don't want any other NPC, I can accept that there aren't new romance options (considering some people you don't want to romance and just have as friends, still get romanced if you give the right answers<_<). But then I expect her to come back in another expansion or atleast DA2. If that doesn't happen, this sh*t is pretty messed up. Same thing if you romanced Leliana. If you get what I mean?

Yes, the story should continue in add ons with everything, romances included, otherwise it would be problem to identify with the PC. Or there should be really good explanation why certain character is no longer with PC - and nothing like "and then they went separate ways..." I romanced with Leliana and it said they stayed together. I even tried an alternative where PC died at the end, end in epilogue it was said that Leliana died year after because of grief, so I dont think she would leave my PC. And I wont leave her;-) Same with my dog, although I didnt take him on quests, I liked him, and he was quite useful finding gifts and other things... Its hard to continue playing with original PC when the game behaves unlogically.

Uh... sure... so long as we have the option to abort the bloody thing as in real life as well please!
