hey i found this page on the dragon wiki so i thought you guys might want to read it to help clear some things up

If Alistair becomes king, unless the Warden is a human noble or Alistair has been hardened, the relationship will end. Even if he has been hardened the relationship can still end if the correct dialogue options are not chosen when he speaks to the Warden after the Landsmeet. Although there is some flexibility, be sure to choose "Nobody can force the king to do anything he doesn't want to" in order to convince Alistair to continue the relationship.

yes i know that but people ask how will alistair treat you, i was thinking that they would have different dialogue if you are still in a relationship, you dont necessarily kiss or take him to bed

i can't believe people still want the romance option after bioware saying no romance option. the way i see the storyline you will be too much busy trying to rebuild the grey warden then to have any romance. why not with and see what will come after this expansion.

Alikan: This wasn't about wanting romance in Awakenings. Bioware said the romances would be acknowledged and this NPC is either in a relationship with the PC or would be in a position to comment on the PC's relationship with another. It's a perfect setup for recognizing romances.

What info are you specifically referencing in regards to Alistair and the PC's relationship in Awakening? I don't see anything in the Wiki referencing this.

This Wiki does not cover Alistair not as king (in love with warden as a warden and rebuilding the grey wardens). The relationship will carry over. You will just not be able to pursue it or any other love interest relationship in Awakenings. As to how Alistair will treat you will depend entirely on your choices (how you treated him).

Yeah, becoming queen I think would be a far different choice than a simple romance.

my female char was becoming queen at the end and no dialogue spoken to her made me think otherwise

but the random text screens summing up what happens after the game come up and said Anora became queen i was so confused. im assuming it meant my Char and  its just that screen is bugged.

The legend bugs will not affect anything, as there i no indication that the legends overwrite anything.

I dont have alistair in my game and no explination. the end of my uploaded game said he was with my caracter to help the grey wardens but he is no where! anyone know why?

It's all a bit disappointing really, Alistair is so much more fun than poor old Oghren. It would have been great to develop the relationship a bit more too, as a counterpoint to all the hard core adventuring.

Because there was loads of time while rebuilding an army and combating the blight 8D

My rogue is queen and it was definitely referred to when she saw Alistair. Deeefinitely. Also, in the Awakening epilogues for both my characters, it mentioned their romances.

Dalira, I guess that's only because you are a human noble.



I was really disappointed because Alistair made no appearance and our relationship was not mentioned at all although we were a couple at the end of part 1.



I am playing a dwarf and in my version I made Anora queen and Alistair stayed a grey warden.
