Dalira, I guess that's only because you are a human noble.

I was really disappointed because Alistair made no appearance and our relationship was not mentioned at all although we were a couple at the end of part 1.

I am playing a dwarf and in my version I made Anora queen and Alistair stayed a grey warden.

Yip my player is a human noble....but I am guessing Alistair "you're version" had a misson else ware....could be mistaken though sorry for my english sometimes i miss spell things

But Alas, i do not like how we either don't get to see Alistair or see him once then never again :/  I was kinda hoping to get back to denerim after the whole war was over but I guess have to wait for dragon age 2

back to topic

I think BioWare or Ea rushed DoA a bit needs more thinking....because in dragon age origins the romances added an extra level to the game....

we need mroe Alistair rather have him than the drunken dwarf

I carried my female human noble over from Origins and I made Anora Queen so Alistair stayed a Grey Warden in mine and I didn't see him once... :(

You only get to see Alistair if you made him king. Otherwise you won't see him at all.

Wonder why?

Since he was one of the main players in origins you think he would have a role to play in awakening but hey should experiment with the toolset and make changes.....

If you're his mistress he'll come give you a peck on the cheek, then run off to the Bannorn.

What exactly are all of Alistair's possible appearances in Awakening anyway? I have yet to encounter him but I only just arrived in Amaranthine so I'm really not far enough to comment... I mean, I know that you meet him but are the circumstances of the encounter different if you made him king and became queen, verses the two of you just remaining Wardens? And what if you didn't romance him?

*(edit) Oh, wait; so unless he's king you don't see him at all? Not cool...

I was wondering about this myself, was hoping there might at least be a cut scene with him having to attend to grey warden business elsewhere (or something). Seems unfinished that for a companion who was utterly devoted and a constant companion throughout origins that he would just vanish without a word in awakenings. I haven't quite got to that point yet so I'm really hoping I get some sort of news
