But let's not turn this into a pc vs console thread! Talk about how awesome Mass Effect is!
I just started ME1 with my femshep (first time female) and I was surprised by the good voice acting, it sounds really good and i fits well with my custom sheps face! I still like the maleshep more though. And deep down I enjoy the renegade actions (like beating the mad scientist on Eden Prime KO, ghehe) But I still choose the paragon responses when talking to the people I like (crew members, Cap. Anderson etc.)

My TV isn't at my desk, and I'm not swapping it to be so.   Either way, my PC is lower grade than my 360.  Worked fine for WoW and older stuff, but it really needs an overhaul before I'll put anything new on here.

But yes, anyway.   I prefer FemShep overall, myself.  However, MaleShep has much better romance options, so I now have to make a bunch of MaleSheps through ME1 since I didn't play him too much there.

I don't think anyone's truly doing a PC vs 360 debate. No one's said that one sucks, or the other is the undisputed best. Just people stating their preference. Though the lack of an argument on it is more surprising than anything. Did people forget this was the internet? XD

Finally! 600 bucks later I'm back in business with my new 360 and all the bells and whistles!! Plus I got a bunch of games at a big discount for buying the system!

Im in the same boat as CmdrFenix83 I been playing on consoles for about 23 years and Im just not very good with keyboard and mouse. Plus im on a laptop and sitting on a bed, I tried playing the witcher like that but it just didnt work out, shame because it seemed awesome. Id love the high end pc graphics but im happy with my 360 and hdtv.

I haven't done the fem Shep romance yet, but it would have to be with Garrus. On my male Shep I didn't really want any of the ME1 characters as LIs. They are great squadies, but I just didn't feel interested in pursuing it further than that. Once I saw Miranda I knew thats who I would go for...despite what some may think its not cause of the looks. She (in my humble opinion) is the only one that feels like Sheppard's equal in terms of ability and skills. Once I did her convos and loyalty mission I fell in love with her character. Very deep and very touching. I pray to all that is holy that BioWare does a lot more with the LIs in the 3rd game.

Wow thats quite a good deal, I was expecting some games that have been out a good few months, if nhl 10 is on the EA sports collection then thats quite the bargain.

Well I did mean a pc.. not a laptop -.- I prefer console gaming over laptop any day! NO I mean high end sli/cf pc with a 80dollar gaming mouse, keyboard with macro's, big ass screen and a speaker set that will let you **** yourself when turned even to a quarter volume

Yeah, thought the exact same thing, the stuff you wrote down there is the same I would write down. But I have to disagree on your last sentence though. I never disliked TIM, neither did I dislike Cerberes. They get things done. Some measures they take are a but extreme but overall I enjoyed working with them. Blank check = win

FemShep?  I liked both of her options in ME1, and only liked Garrus's in ME2.  Even if Garrus's is a bit creepy at first.

MaleShep, I hated Ashley.  I thought I might have gotten through to her about her racist crap until the confrontation between her and Liara.  The 'bug-eyed alien' line made me regret not leaving her on Vermire.  For ME2, Miranda's just as bad as Ash was.  The kicker was the confrontation with Jack.  The 'but clearly you were a mistake' line makes it impossible for most of my characters to ever do anything but side with Jack.

Um... anyway... I would go with Kaiden, Liara, or Garrus overall for a FemShep.

Hey now, I never said I wasn't any good with the PC.  I got banned from the last CS Server I was on because they claimed I was hacking.   I do fairly well with Shooters/RPGs/MMO's, etc.  (Though not RTS's, but micromanagement of an army of units' abilities is more than I can handle.)  I just feel more at home with the controller in my hand.  I never hit the wrong button, which I'm prone to do on my keyboard.

Hmm I go with no one in ME1, I don't think Liara is worth it. And I think Kaiden is a wuss. And take Garrus in ME2, I like him the most to.



About Miranda vs Jack. Yeah I can see what you mean. But the thing is, I think Jack is creepy and I don't like her, so I'd have to agree with Miranda on that one

Its because of my Sheppard's background...he lost his unit on Akuze because of a Cerberus project gone "right" (which means very very wrong)

I'm addicted to both ME2 and DA:O. I can't choose between them so I just switch from one to the other. I finish on playthrough with one, I go to the other until I finish it, return to the first, etc .
