The door on the 2nd floor (the one with the rage demon and the undead that heals him) will not open.  I have reloaded this area 3 times and made sure to initiate the dialogue with the NPC after the fight but the door remains locked.  There's no key to speak of.......PLZ HALP BIOWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

yup.. didnt they had like 4 years to sort all the bugs and this crap?

Same issue. I have reloaded multiple times and tried dragging out the fight. I level during the fight as well.

I also level up during the fight... main character gets lvl 10. Been thru it once on a diff character with no issue that I remember. I think I remember Levi talking to me on his own after the battle too.

Managed to get around it finally. I travelled to another location, got in a fight and leveled up, then travelled back. I am not convinced leveling is the issue though because on the 2nd phase, 2 rage demons spawned this time around, which should have happened before I leveled before. So basically, if they don't spawn, it's not working.

I hope you actually do realize that Soldier's Peak is an addition to the game. It certainly wasn't finish 4 years ago, smart-mouth.
Well, there are bugs and glitches here and there, but if you want to post a valid point, then try a smarter reasoning.

If anyone is still having this issue. I did as ReachinAssistant said and I got the event working correctly again. I think it has more to do w/ zoning in and out rather than the leveling, but coincidentally I was also about to level up (to 10 as well )

I just started this game, and also stuck on Soldiers Peak with the door to the shrine not unlocking. Was there ever any fixes to this? Did EA or Bioware ever address the issue?

Never had that problem. Try traveling away and back to Soldier's peak.

I havent had that problem
the only problem i have ever had, was no Return to ostagar in the UE
