There is also this glitch (xbox only), which also works for squadmates. When you are about to get the final evolution of a skill, press X+A at the same time. You will get the skill, and get your 4 points back to use on another skill.
Best thing I've heard.

Nice one. Combining this with the one I posted really saves a lot of time.

if you use this with power retrain you can actually get ten points back each time so in one fell swoop you can max everythingsandman7431 wrote...

Bioware aren't fixing bugs, so don't worry about it not working at a later date.
They do always say that bug-exploit characters may not import to ME3, though.

Really? I didn't realize bug-exploit characters files were any different from normal ones. Though I figure something like skills won't transfer over to ME3 so the point is kinda moot. You can transfer characters that you leveled up with bugs and the like in ME1 to ME2 at least.Bill Hooks wrote...

I figure the thing you want to get bugged to max or something if you can't max it out are things like paragon/renegade meters and the like.

It's pretty easy for them to add up the number of points you trained in and take the level of the character to see how many points you were suppose to have. Will they do it? I hope so but unlikely.

Wuld still be nice to know if using these "glitch" wuld prevent me from using my savefile for ME3.

can someone give us an exact way to do this? its not working for me, im on 360
You retrain powers, and when you're ranking the powers up, when you're going to rank it up to rank 4, push X and A at the same time.
