For all I know, this has already been posted but I just happened to find out that you can basically earn infinite power points.  Go into the technical labratory on the Normandy and choose retrain powers from the console (which will free up all of your points) then immediately choose advanced training and select dominate.  This will put 1 point into dominate automatically while not using any of your previous points.  You can then just choose retrain powers again and it will free up all of your points plus the 1 you just got for free.  You can continue to do this until you have enough points to max out every ability you have.  I wouldn't recommend it for a first playthrough because it ruins the balance of the game but if you've had a lot of fun with the game already, I suggest you try it out.  It's like god mode from games in the 90s.

There is also this glitch (xbox only), which also works for squadmates. When you are about to get the final evolution of a skill, press X+A at the same time. You will get the skill, and get your 4 points back to use on another skill.

Bioware aren't fixing bugs, so don't worry about it not working at a later date.

Nice one.  Combining this with the one I posted really saves a lot of time.

if you use this with power retrain you can actually get ten points back each time so in one fell swoop you can max everything

They do always say that bug-exploit characters may not import to ME3, though.

Really?  I didn't realize bug-exploit characters files were any different from normal ones.  Though I figure something like skills won't transfer over to ME3 so the point is kinda moot.  You can transfer characters that you leveled up with bugs and the like in ME1 to ME2 at least.

I figure the thing you want to get bugged to max or something if you can't max it out are things like paragon/renegade meters and the like.

It's pretty easy for them to add up the number of points you trained in and take the level of the character to see how many points you were suppose to have. Will they do it? I hope so but unlikely.

Cheaters never pay.

I don't see how this could possibly screw up an import to ME3.

I did that glitch for Grunt on Insane, does it make the bull**** balancing system make it harder because I glitched his powers?

This ain't possible till the mission on Horizon where you get the Retrain Powers as a reward. Shepard is around on level 10 depending on how you played till you reached here. Not sure if a second walk through makes the training option available at the beginning.

No, it still gets unlocked after Horizon even if its a second time, I think, cant remember. When its singel player, if you whant to cheat, cheat, its not hurting anyone, except maybee yourself...

Wuld still be nice to know if using these "glitch" wuld prevent me from using my savefile for ME3.

You retrain powers, and when you're ranking the powers up, when you're going to rank it up to rank 4, push X and A at the same time.
