I know dog can mark trees and stuff, anyoen have a list of the locations? and do they actually give any pemanant buffs outside of the area?

I don't have a list but I have noticed that when I go back into an area where my dog has marked it says that dominance is now active. So I'm pretty sure it's effect only lasts while you're in the area.
