Anybody else had the difficulty change by itself for no reason?? My femshep was on insanity, and i loaded it up today & it was set to hardcore?!?! Wtf? I KNOW i did not change it.Image IPB

Perhaps one of your brothers/sisters changed the setting? Or it's a bug and probaly going to ruin your Insanity achievement.

That is unfortunately going to prevent you from getting the insanity achievement, as for it being a bug... I'm not so sure.very interesting though.

Never had this happen to me and I have had multiple games at different difficulty levels going before.

Does going to the options and, let's say, turning on/off auto level up but not changing difficulty setting prevent you from getting the insanity achievement or not?

I toggled off auto skills mid game and I got my achievement, only changing difficulty setting will prevent you from unlocking it.

As long as you don't toggle the difficulty you'll be fine. You have to make sure you don't change the difficulty at all though. If you even change it off insanity and then change it back without exiting the menu it will negate the achievement.
