About 150 hours the first run, reading and doing everything. My other 5 runthroughs have still been in the 100-120 hour range, still doing everything but not reading all codex. I tend to want to explore *all* options in the game though, and play cautiously at higher difficulty. Can't understand how anyone can do it in less than 80 hours....

Dallo, this kind of matches my style. First time through, I like to read everything - for roleplay value, and also in case there's anything useful or interesting revealed there. As someone else posted, it's cool to know the game world is so well fleshed out and "three-dimensional" (as E.M. Forster once described good writing). If I were to play it through again, I'm sure I'd be quite a bit faster. I wouldn't feel the need or desire to read all codex entries, and would have a better sense of what's what, in general. I can see the value of playing different characters, classes, and origin stories. I'm eager for "Awakening" to come out, though. Don't know if I'll play "Origins" through a second time before then. I should say my lifespace usually only allows me to play in short increments of 20 - 40 minutes at a time, which I'm sure adds to the overall game time (have to get 'reacquainted' each time I load the game).

I played the game four times, and every game lasted slightly under 50 hours (47-50).

I missed a lot of content when doing my first playthrough, but the weird thing is that even subsequent ones (completing every sidequest) didn't last a lot longer. I don't skip conversations; however, I don't speak every time with all characters, either. It depends on roleplaying: some wardens are friends with Sten and speak with him a lot, while ignoring Leliana, for instance.

It's not that strange that subsequent playthroughs would be shorter even if you did more. After all, the subsequent times, you know how the encounters work and more or less what tactics you can use to beat them. Most of us have a similar experience. My most complete game is my shortest in time, because it was my fourth time through.

It was close to 120 hours on my 1st run, but I did read everything and listened to all the convos and did all the quests I could.  I'm about 50 hours in to my 2nd run, and over half way through. Hard to believe someone can make it all the way through in under 40 hours, but enough people say they did it . . .

First time, dwarf noble, reading maybe half the codex and doing about half the sidequests, 98 hours.

Currently on my second run (human noble) and into it about 50 hours or so but seems to be going faster (and easier, thankfully). It is also a different experience getting Morrigan and Sten to like me and taking Sten along instead of Allistair.

~60 hours first playthrough, completing most quests

~35-40 hours subsequent playthroughs, mostly solo, skipping most of the dialogue

BTW, I also tried to develop the PC's relationships with all the companions to the fullest extent, going to camp and talking to each of them between quests, acquiring - and giving - presents, and so on. That all took a while.

I believe that it took me 75 hours, give or take, on my first pass. I tried to explore everything (but I suppose I was not terribly thorough as I did not get the achievement for unlocking all areas), and read everything.

God damn, I feel envious of people who can take so long on a game, my longest playthrough was 17 hours and my shortest was about 12 or 13.

Do yourself a favour - eat regularly and take bathroom breaks. There's no need to sit 12 hours straight at the computer in order to "rush" the game. Take a breath and do at least some of the sidequests and maybe even talk to someone . . . the social interaction is what takes the longest time.

My average play-through Origins is 75 hours and tack on another 15 hours for Awakening so for me, that's 90 hours playing all the way through with one character.

My first playthrough took me around 150+ hours. I tend to wander around looking at everything and hunting for containers..etc.

I don't want to rush through it...i love the game too much for that.

In camp i talk to everyone every time we go back there.

What i would of liked to do was to walk from place to place rather than fly there via the map icons.

1st run: 112 hours. I'd say about 92% complete. Couple of quests bugged out on me and I couldn't bother. Time flies when you're reading and re reading the Codex entries.....

The first time it took me about 110h, reading the codex, going back and forth to sell things, talking to ALL partymembers. I also play without the quest helpers.

I don't see how you could finish DA in 15 hours or why you would want to.

I tend to finish anywhere from 24 hours to 45 hours. The shorter playthroughs were on the Xbox where I was less able to take my time with the game. I'm currently on my 12th playthrough. The Xobox playthroughs are shorter also methinnks because it's so easy on the console.

Not only I don't unstand why you would want to do that, but I've also no clue how it is even possible to do.

i felt kinda let down, i took 66h 13m. but i wanted to do like at least 80%+ of the game because i was loving it. i really tried hard to do all the quests i could but it just ran out and it said i only did 40% of the game so i figured the game might carry on after the arch demon mabey some kind of non liniar story emerging u know. now i dont rly want to play it again cus of all the diaglouge de ja vue and skipping it is just wrong. i feel dissapionted i was gonna go back and slay the dragon at the ashes with imba fire resistant stuff. but thats all i left out, i even played through the extra content.

would have been better if it was playable after the demon quest.

~120 hours on my first run...partly because I was scouting in stealth obsessively and approaching every single combat by pulling off minimum numbers of opponents and ambushing them. My second run is probably going to be more like 75 hours.

I can't imagine how you would finish in 15. Even if you never pause during combat, I'd have thought there was nearly that many hours of conversation in the game.

I think my first run took 70-80 hours but I also ended the game at level 18-19 then, had installed none of the dlc and wound up killing wynne accidentally in the tower while missing leliana completely and sliced zevs throat. Every run since then has become a bit faster every time and in order to do all sidequests and get every companion to high approval and do their personal quests (with skipping through the dialogue) takes around 35-45 hours. How people call rushing through faster even playing the game I do not know xD

143 hrs my first run. Playing runs 2 & 3 still. I literally read every codex, and in the case of quest ones, sometimes re-re-read them as more bits get added during the quests. I also pause through every battle and search every nook and cranny of every area I visit, just my playing style. The only aread I dont think I played to the fullest was that I romanced Morrigan and just stuck with her. I intentionally didnt go for some of the camp dialog options. More to learn in rounds 2 & 3.
