I like to be in the middle of things, battle etc. Guess because I'm an exMMO player. Couldn't pause there. hehe
You'll be fine. I play 95% non-pause, only pause when I need to activate toggle powers etc for certain situations on NPC characters.
Nightmare on DA is nothing like Insanity on the Mass Effect series. I personally find Insanity on ME laborious and a waste of time since enemies just have high resistance and loads of health. I thought the same would happen on DA, but Nightmare just effects you when it comes to area of effect spells and bosses do resist certain effects, but not 100% of the time.
Put it to you like this. I beat Gaxkang on Nightmare a lot faster than I did on Hard and the same for the Archdemon.
Nightmare is actually very fun.
